Is Scy okay?

Cil is right, let's get together and plan our next move, Tub adds as he hits the trapdoor with his short sword. I bet you there's something good up there though,he says, resisting the urge.

Tub helps Scy into the dining room if he needs it.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

"Sergius is alive, but he can't move. Something that slime Jonus did to him. I think he stabbed him with his dagger or something, then he just fell to the ground and curled up in a ball..."
Cilian looks down at his friend with concern.

Scythius (7/16hp)

A bit pale, breathing heavily while blood drips from his neck, Scythius moves to doorway between the dining room and kitchen. I'll watch the kitchen, take care of Serg.

"Jonus did something to you; not sure what, though. Don't worry. He's gone. And the others found something freaky in the attic. Don't worry. It's dead. But I still think there is something through the kitchen door. Now that you're awake and moving about again, we should either continue checking out the attic or see what's beyond the kitchen," replies Cilian in a low voice.

Sergius tries to stand up using his spear for support. If he can stand and move without much trouble he nods at Cillian Ready to go then.

Vik comes back inside and announces that Jonus made his getaway on the horse that was there when they arrived. "Lucky some bitch," he mutters as he moves over to regroup with his compatriots.

Vik looks over at Osric questioningly as he checks over his weapons and gear. "Mict-lan-te-what? That's the same deity been tied to them Death Mongers, right? Anyways, he's a lucky bastard, whomever his gods be," he curses, obviously pissed and embarrassed he got taken out of the fight before he could land another blow.

The young churl finally shrugs it off and refocuses on the tasks at hand. When he cops a peek through the doorway at the nasty-looking beast his friends killed, he stares over at Tub. "What the devil you and Scy find in the attic?"

Scythius (14/16hp)

That feels much better, thank your god for me Osric.

I'm going to make sure there aren't any more surprises in here before we go poking around whatever hole that *thing* crawled out of. I could use a hand when you're ready Vik.

Scythius, creeps over to the kitchen door and listens again for the footsteps he heard earlier. When the others are ready, he slowly opens the door.

The door creaks as it opens and a puff of dust comes out of the doorway.

opening the door reveals a set of strairs headed down into the dark.

Viktor moves to the other side of the doorway and takes up a ready position. He nods to Scythius when he's ready.

After the ranger opens the door, and no more undead emerge looking for blood, the young churl peers down the stairs. "This place has a cellar, I guess?" he queries aloud of the obvious. He tries to sniff the air once the puff of dust settles and listens again for any possible occupancy down there in the foreboding darkness below...

"Looks old and hopefully unused," he blurts out after a while, trying to reassure himself. "Besides shouldn't we clear them other rooms, and the attic too, before we go down and poke around in a dirty 'ol cellar?"

So a group to the basement. Npc cleric watches the trap door and someone else watches exit?
