One by one everyone gradually makes it up to where the wall breach is. Everyone that has made it up notices that the area where the wall was is heavily overgrown with vegetation, but is reasonably dry. You all hear scuttling sounds are audible from within the mass of vines and branches. The area of the vegetation is about 20 feet wide. To be able to pass through you might need to burn or hack your way through to make it into the inner area beyond the breach. The sound you hear sounds like the noises are from small animals like mice, squirrels etc.

Egon will start to cut a path through so that he can lower the rope down for people to climb down.

"I can go first if someone else is willing to climb down last without the rope. But, I am the best climber."

Do we... need to deal with whatever in the vines is making all that racket...? I... uh... I could put it all to sleep... maybe... he offers

Draws his blades and stands at the ready, in case any threat comes out of the vines at them.

"Reywald, your call but I suspect it is to late. They have been making that noise the whole time I have been up here."

Del nods in understanding and will focus on the inside of the keep and see if anything comes and Egon helps the others climb.

Critters as soon as Egon starts hacking to clear the way a bunch of mice, squirrels and other little critters skitter out and flee away from the party none stop to fight the adventurers they flee their home for however long they had been there. The hacking takes a lot of effort and would go faster if there were more than just Egon working at it.

Reyald keeps watch for danger while Egon works, his own dagger being fairly ineffective against the brush

Grabs his axe and assists with the pruning.

Continues on watch duty, since his daggers are no good for chopping vines.

With more than one working at the task clearing a path goes a bit faster while clearing the vines, and other foliage numerous small and harmless animals (mice, frogs) flee the pit in a mass exodus. The bottom of the pit is filled with rubble from the collapsed wall. Once everything is cleared from the pit the dwarves notice what looks like signs of a collapsed tunnel in the bottom of the pit. It took a couple hours with help hacking away and clearing so you can see the pit and cross it.

"Lets see if we can get to that tunnel and see where it goes."

Kravoud

Will follow Egon to investigate the tunnel. He expects that given the amount of brush and vines that they cleared that this passageway will not have been used for many years. He would be looking for signs of any recent usage that seemed out of place. He would also be looking to determine if the passageway is stable enough for the party to enter since it appeared that had been a collapse of the cave in the past.
