Akhilleus has 2 Iron rations (14 days) and 2 waterskins.

But IIRC we lost them at the beginning of the campaign?

I thought we'd lost stuff in the previous adventure but not at the start of this one.

I just realised one option would be to head back to the Croc oasis and look for these footprints and see if they head in the right direction.

We may have, I don't have the time to look at the moment. If someone finds it let me know please and I will fix Drest's sheet.

Yes, there is a nice communal fresh water well in the center of the Bazaar where folks from all walks of life collect the life sustaining liquid.

And it’s free too!

And yes, the footprints in the desert are something you shouldn’t forget about.

With the 45gp left, why don't we get a short bow and 24 arrows for Dest, costing 34g 6s and then 3 slings and bullets for 9g for others (Xenos would take one)

I am good with that if everyone else is.

I've been trying to work out directions on the map, and I've been assuming that the top of the smaller maps are North.

But looking more closely it seems that North is in the centre of the map, skews everything in my head

OM, I'd assumed we could get a basic idea of direction from the sun, but I gather this isn't so easy in Hyperborea?

Fine with it. Akhilleus has a decent DEX (+1 with proyectiles), so he can use a sling, but no problem if others have preference.

I may have to tweak things a little as Drest is no longer able to provide those iron rations?

OK, so here we go with the shopping trip, we have 76gp, 6sp. 2 cp.

3wks rations: 9gp (4 days each, these are STANDARD rations)
3 waterskins each: 27gp, (18 waterskins in total)
short bow: 30gp
Arrows, 24, plus 2 quivers: 4gp, 6sp
Sling & stones (x2): 6gp

Total:76gp, 6sp.

This leaves us 2cp in the fund.

OM, can we get a discount for buying 18 waterskins?

Correct.

With north being the general direction of Mount Vhuurmithadon (centrally), compass directions will be……..challenging in Hyperborea.
