Though the locals are regarded as country bumpkins who speak with a funny accent.
Although us with Norfolk roots might not entirely agree.

Sven tries his best to get Truro to understand that some things will seem a little different than he is used to out in the wild, trying very hard not to start a science vs. religion argument.
Aah, Truro, so young, so innocent.

Can we assume that you keep the same initiative order till the end of the battle?
During encounters I will roll initiative for any NPC's or critters and ask that the first person posting rolls a Team initiative roll. The higher of the [1d6] scores will act first in my narratives. If scores are tied, I will rule on simultaneous actions with an advantage going to variables such as dexterity bonus, weapon speed factors and weapon reach or length, casting time of spells, movement distance.
As a general rule I use an order of Magic, Missile, Melee, Movement. Though this is modified by missiles that are triggered or loosed such as crossbows or pulled bows which if set may fire first in the above pattern.
Also I take into account missile weapons 'rate of fire' so an archer firing two arrows may fire one on his initiative and take the second arrow loosed as another action after the opposing side have also acted on their initiative. (Hope that makes sense).

I do read the other expeditions. (All out of character knowledge of course). Nice to see some other expeditions have the proverbial hit the fan and interesting challenges to face.
How many of us want the Nergal door to open ....

Agreed!
The challenges have been as enjoyable as they have been nerve wracking.
Interesting, original ideas, sprinkled with a hint of familiarity makes for a great old school recipe. Bravo, sir!
And I think that door is good closed for now.

Sure. They journey back to Helix might take a few days and then I will round up your expedition with some xp rewards and you can discuss how to divide any trove you have collected on the way.

Ok. I get the subliminal too. A 'carrot hared' mage and a 'wily coyote'. For Sven and the evil Knievel falling from a canyon.
Bravo sir.

These are awesome so far, everyone! But if Vann Hectors meat pie has actual squire leg in it, Sven will pass.

It was probably Edbaldwin, eh? He seemed like the spiciest one.
Yes. I see the error. Comes from auto-type on my mobile. Will leave it in now. Probably more meat on his leg. Just hope I removed the hairs and took his socks off.
