"Let's follow the wall around and evaluate the exits"
CW or CCW?
Indifferent. Holding decision for party consensus.
Consider it hivemind lag.

"I know it might be hard to leave the bodies behind but I think it's best we join the others. What do you say? Through the light?"

Needle
Seeing something happen to his new companion (Podo), Needle looks back again at Silvestri and then rushes through the wall of light, involuntarily tensing for impact or something painful.

Saiph is momentarily stunned by the sight he beholds but is quickly brought down to earth when Podo goes flying by, nearly hitting him. He looks around, spots the cloaky people and slips behind Denslow for cover.

Silvestri
Left alone in the corridor the young psion ponders his predicament for a few seconds before sighing, putting his sword away and heading after Needle "Something tells me I'm going to regret this, but at least I won't die alone" he mutters to himself as he steps through.

Podo
Stunned by the shock of magical energy that threw him effortlessly across the entrance, Podo shakes his head to try and regain his wits. He grasps Denslow's tendril and rises to his feet. Thankful that the loud humming may have masked the sounds of commotion, Podo looks at Denslow and the others and points a finger to the south with an inquiring look on his face.

Urlando, itching for revenge against the metal-faced humanoids, hangs by the entryway for a moment to count them. His two heads scan the room as he ascertains the odds.

Anton raises his visor again. The skull tilts inquisitively as the ants scurry across it tending to bits of mold seemingly unaware of everything outside the suit.
"Podo, are you hurt badly?" he inquires.
He offers a gloved hand to help Podo up from the floor.

OOC: Are you speaking telepathically again? Assuming you are:
Podo rises to his feet with the assistance of Denslow and Anton,
"I'll be f.... he begins to say before his head clears enough to realize the overwhelming noise would prevent him from being understood. His face crunching in concentration Podo thinks as hard as he can while staring into Anton's visor.
"I'll be fine, but it seems we are trapped in here for the moment. Which direction should we go? I feel like they will notice me any second?" Podo shouts into his mind.
I hope that worked... as he begins to take a step in the southward direction.
OOC: If you were not speaking telepathically: Podo holds a cupped hand to his ear and shakes his head in the negative.

Kurot marvels at the amount of power in this place. His regulator and transformer circuits work overtime trying to keep his systems from overloading.
So much for going back the way we came, he thinks when Podo bounces off the light curtain they just came through. I hope the rest of the passages out of this place aren't just the same.
Eager to get out of this room, he will follow along with anyone who appears to be leaving (other than by the entrance they just used).

Silvestri passes through the light and is immediately enveloped by the saturating >HUMMMM< as he joins the others in the circular energy chamber.
Podo recovers with the assistance of Denslow and Anton. He makes a move south, deciding on a course of action.
Urlando takes time to count the humanoids in his fields of sight. Twelve of these beings (See map) are milling about, engaged in tasks and duties known only to them. They appear unconcerned with your presence or haven’t noticed you.

Silvestri let's the hum envelope him as he takes in the ancient artifacts with a look of awe. "This is what I need to know about, but who will teach me?" he ponders as the group starts to move off. He looks around for a nearby, unattended, device like the one near the bodies in the corridor.

Max approaches one of the creatures (the closest one southeast) and tries to catch it’s attention by waving his hand at the being. He will not impede its progress, just try to see if it notices him.
