Ilhalevar replies by turning her cold stare on to Zafalia.

"Then follow him."

She, however, makes no move to do so.

Looking toward the Priest, the ranger follows. My calling is to track, inform and protect, not to lead. If a madness has indeed taken our friend, now would be the worst time to abandon him.

"I agree with son - surely he will need our help - particularly if he meets more of these plant men."
Varkos makes a show of checking his equipment and moving to the exit the cleric took but clearly is waiting for a consensus before moving off.

Day 1 – 1:05 p

Let's clarify...

The cleric heads into the northern passage out, as everyone has been set up to head in the more southern passage out.

As folks are milling about, and Malak looks more confused than ever as his torch sputters :) the Cleric disappears into the darkness.

Which way do you go?
I'm not going to look for a replacement for Dave, but may retire Malak soon, just to get us down to a more manageable size. Definitely made a mistake taking so many PCs into this  though y'all have been pretty prolific! Thanks!!

HPs: Malak - 15/15; Varkos - 22/22; Ilhalevar - 8/8; Al'Zur- 7/7; SoT - 25/25; Wulfgard - 12/12; Zafalia - 11/11; Odo - 17/17; Rake - 6/6
WIH: Malak: short sword; Varkos: long sword; Ilhalevar: quarterstaff; Al'Zur: long sword; SoT: Spear, shield; Wulfgard: staff; Zafalia: spear, shield; Odo: short sword; Rake: long sword
MO (10’): 1- Zafalia and Varkos and Malak; 2- Odo and Rake and SoT and Ilhalevar; 3- ; 4- Al'Zur (back to one side of the cavern opening); 5- Wulfgard; 6-
Consumables: Hooded lamp (Zafalia) - 4 hours left (off), 30' radius; Torch, 3 minutes (Malak), 40' radius; Torch, 5 minutes (Rake), 40' radius; Torch, 5 minutes Zafalia (off), 40’ radius.
--------Spells: Ilhalevar: 1-1/2; Al'Zur: 1-1/1; Wulfgard: 1-4/4, 2-2/2; Zafalia: 1-3/4, 2-3/3

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Zafalia shrugs back in response to Ilhalevar's cold stare, nods to Son of Thunder, Varkos and the others. "Well, we certainly cannot let him wander off by himself, with or without our healing potions!" she opines as she takes off to catch up with Wulfgard!

Tanik Tremwoodak: Dwarf Cleric3 (Dave's 1e Skype Game)

DM: home-brew OSRIC "A New Hope to the West" campaign

Fireball... good!!

"What's it gonna take?"
"Everything."

"Follow the fool or not, we're taking the potions. He is... unreliable."

She uses her dark vision and speed (movement rate: 120') to spot and quickly catch up to the errant cleric. When she does, she grabs his pack, flips it open, and draws out the two healing potions. If he struggles, she will overpower him, unafraid to use her strength to her advantage.

"Now feel free to wander to your heart's content, Wulfgar."

Day 1 – 1:05 p

PMs recieved. I'll move this action forward a bit, but if no one else follows I'll go to PMs.

Zafalia, Rake and Illhalevar move past Son of Thunder and Varkos into the passage. They neither have to go far, nor need their night vision as Wulfgard lights his lamp. He also hears them coming and turns to face them.

Odo Points to the south-east

We have company coming this way fellows!!! And points to the south-easterly direction.

Odo then with sword drawn hides in the shadows and tries to move a little forward to see what is coming.

At the red X Odo sees something coming.
At the blue X is Zafalia, Illhalevar, Rake and Wulfgard and healing potions.
Just wanted to throw in a clarifying map.

Zafalia will move around the corner eastward from her current location in an attempt to hide the light from the torch from giving away their positions!

"Come Son this is my kind of action, not thinking problems and enchantments."
Varkos strides to meet whatever is coming from the south with sword drawn.

Al'Zur steps back as the brave or foolhardy stalk into whatever. Making sure his bow is at the ready, he steps back for some cover. He doesn't even attempt to persuade the man from a wiser course of action.

When Zaf hears the call for more light and that it is spiders that are approaching, she'll step back around the corner and move forward with the others, holding the torch up high in front of her as she does!

Varkos will send next to Son to allow him to fire first but will be ready to engage after the bow shots.

"We are needed, Wulfrum," Ilhalevar says quietly. "If you chose not to work with the group, then at least leave the healing potions for us," she adds before turning to catch up to the others and prepare to meet the spiders.

Indignant, Wulfrum says I may need them. He then continues the way he was going.

Before I decide to split you guys up, or go to PMs for one group, I wanted to give the last couple of folks a chance to weigh in, and to establish where everyone is. See the map below, it's a little off because the pogs are too big, but I just wanted to get a sense of what everyone was doing. Let me know of changes and etc. :)
