Honestly, I'm not even sure about the elves bonus spells. Starting spells, sure, but maybe not the bonuses. I mostly feel the various racial bonuses are thier perks. Have you seen the Non-human Character Codex? I kind of like the tables of perks in there. Maybe cut it back to 5 or 7 for each and let you pick one?

I have not seen that but went and grabbed it so I can peruse it.
As for the elves, I would lean your way on dropping the bonuses. They can wear armor and use weapons where the M-U doesn't.

@DrApathy - a good start, I do see a couple of things. First, please go back and add the campaign ID (777) to the character and stat rolls if you can. That lets me see them on my campaign dashboard.
HP: Should be 7 (Max at first - 6+1 for CON)\
AC: What armor? Please list weapons and armor under equipment with everything else.
I am also using the optional ascending armor class and attack bonuses per Old-School Essentials. So, 4/5/5 is Chain + shield? That becomes 14/15/15.

Brendan, both your guys need to be converted to ascending AC, and need the perks from the updated house rules. For the Illusionist - more spells, no arcane blast though. Start there for now.

Ok, So we have a Cleric and an Illusionist at the moment.
I didn't realize we were allowed to move our stats around, and with my good rolls, I can play almost anything. Leaning towards Paladin at the moment. What other cool front-line types are there?

Well, straight fighter, of course, and Knight (cavalier). Really, anyone who can use heavier armor is an option. Don't be shy about another cleric either - they can certainly be played as more of a crusader type, heavy armor and weapons, just a little lighter on hp.

I'm currently looking at a ranger and an elf. May change the ranger to a dwarf. Still have to flesh them out.

So are we each playing one or two characters?

Good point. @VonAlric: I did offer to the other guys that they could run two characters each if they waned, since there are only a few players. You are welcome to do that as well.
Ekendahl - If you wish, you can, as per the above quote. Nothing says you have got to do it.

We have four players, so two characters is still not a problem. You can if you want to.

Another idea for demihuman character perks. Still a work in progress. Thoughts?

Just picking one of those to go along with the other traits?
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm looking at the doc as you edit it and it stated it right at the top. Guess my speed reading is a bit poor.

Right- just a little something to differentiate them from each other given this is race-as class.

I think I will do two characters:
Really feel like a magic-user and his side-kick the fighting man or that new fangled class, that will brake the game: the thief.
Is it ok to cheat and do a second roll before deciding who’s who?

Updated Nimbus:

May just stick with one character, keep it simple and try to run away a lot. The second would have just been a meat-shield mostly anyway in hopes of keeping the caster alive for a level or 2. Depends if we have any "gaps" as a group. Let me know if Nimbus is ok now.

I think he looks OK - there are a couple of little things to finish, but go ahead and paste him into a post in the Character Sheets thread. On the page where you can edit him, up top is a string of code like this: [ sheet]6906[ /sheet]. Just paste that into a new reply by itself.

Stats: STR:13, INT:13, WIS:16, DEX:15, CON:4, CHR:11
I used straight 3d6, I know the idea is to swap a 15 to achieve a desired class but that CON is looking awfully needy...
Or maybe I should go 15 STR and just have a sickly fighter.

Hmm,I'm strongly thinking a halfling herbalist would be pretty cool, that would allow me to"min-max" by swapping the 4 CON out with the 15 since a halfling has a CON requirement...
I'm currently reading Maze of Peril by Holmes and one of the heroes in it is a halfling so I'm interested in giving the little guys a shot.
