I’ll make some mistakes, so appreciate any guidance especially whe. It comes to the mechanics of rolls, etc.

Everyone please put notes about things like your skills and whatnot in the Notes section - Hmm, 5E might just be too robust for the US sheet to handle comfortable. I'll look around for maybe a fillable sheet that could serve our purposes --if we go that route, I'll have everyone's sheets on my GoogleDrive and we can edit as we please.
