I should have made this a no-healing potion world. Diablo has softened an entire generation of role players.badams30 wrote:Grimes is mainly interested in obtaining some magic armor and some healing potions... always in need of healing....

And you would think Dandy's 12 memorized healing spells would be enough...sheesh this DM is killer.greyarea wrote:I should have made this a no-healing potion world. Re: OOC chat
Yeah, Grimes is like Kenny from South Park. "You bastards! You killed Grimes!"
Re: OOC chat
Do we have anything like a portable hole for loot storage?
Re: OOC chat
As I recall, there are a few bags of holding among the characters.Zhym wrote:Do we have anything like a portable hole for loot storage?
edit: apparently, I recalled incorrectly. Algrim has a portable hole though.

Re: OOC chat
Might be worth trying to trade for some magical loot bags, then. For all that loot in the metal fortress.

Re: OOC chat
@GM, PM sent.
I agree with GreyWolfVT and Zhym, Dieter will likely ask for a couple of bags of holding, maybe a robe of the same thing. Dieter has some pretty offensive stuff already, I am playing into the more exotic stuff at this point. Folding boat, portable fort, etc... Neat stuff. I thought about asking for something like Elminster's pipe but the description goes on for like three pages... its pretty much an artifact. He has been seen having arguments with it!
BTW: I think Castinus should nab the slippers of spider climbing in our inventory, what thief would not dig on those! Nike symbols to boot!

Re: OOC chat
Nope, check Dieter's inventory. Already have that, paid a dear penny for it. Have fort, will travel. Combined with the weather control rod (not in Dieters's possession) not to much to worry about for shelter.
Greyarea does not let us hang in towns too often, the team is usually delving for many real months on end (I think this campaign has been going on since 2012). So you drink, puke and drink some more before your character gets pushed into the next peril.

Re: OOC chat
A little preview into the future: the rod of weather control won't be coming with us. Ulster is going to send it away for safekeeping. (Basically, greyarea wants it out of play.)
That said, a 12th-level druid is pretty handy to have around if you want a comfortable night's sleep outdoors.
