Happy to be back into pbp here on Unseen Servant! I also played in Spart's game on Dragonsfoot. I'm salivating with anticipation for this game. Spart's game was really deep, like I'd always hoped for from DnD but rarely have experienced. (No pressure, Spart!) ;-)

What classes are you all thinking of playing? I haven't played a fighter type in a while, but I can get into anything.

When playing Basic, I usually just roll in order and take what the dice give me. Basic is all about not overthinking things and just playing, IMO. :)

Tamerlaine has indicated that he's in, so we are officially full (9 players). Further interest will go on the waitlist, in case somebody drops out. Thanks everyone!

I'm with you there. And with that, roll up two extras in case of fairly probable premature death!

I've a fondness for dwarves and Magic-users, but I'm going to play a Conan-esque fighter.

Hmm... maybe I'll go cleric or thief, leaning toward cleric.

Thinking thief, but open to anything.

I will have a look at your house rules before deciding.

Maximum hp at first level? And mages do you start with knowing a minimum number of spells, it is hard work just to survive just knowing read magic, magic missile and floating disc at 1st level!

Rolled HP at 1st, but must be at least half maximum (2 for magic-user, 3 for cleric, 4 for fighter, etc).
Magic-users begin with two 1st and one 2nd level spell in their books (though they can't cast the 2nd level until later, obviously), and get one additional 1st per point of Int bonus. Each level, they can add 1 spell (of any level) to their book. They can also scribe spells from scrolls and other spellbooks found in the course of play.

So, when are you planning on creating a campaign in the dice roller so we can get a campaign ID? :)

I was waiting for the board to be set up...can I get the rolling part of it going already?
Sorry, first time running here. :)

Yup. Go to the Campaigns tab on the dice roller and select "New Campaign." That'll give you the campaign ID we need to start rolling PCs.

Awesome, thank you! I'm on it.
