'Blackjack' Amistad pins a note on the town bulletin board and sends couriers with extra copies to leaflet around the Southern camp.

"Calling the Brave and the Bold. Frontier families of all races invited to consider becoming founding fathers to the new Gaulish settlement of Pinewood Vale. A secure and peaceful hamlet for farmers, fishermen and social anthropologists. 30 miles north of the ford to the confluence of the River Gaul and babbling Orctongue.'

See entrepreneur Amistad at the Lion and Axe Logging yard in Frogmorton for further details.

Clay sniffs around the bulletin board on his way back to Beith's Watch and wonders at the newest sign. False advertising, that. Why would he need "brave and bold" folk to move to a place that is supposed to be "secure and peaceful"? He wonders aloud to his companion, Clarabelle.

Lug snorts in laughter at Clay's remark. "Heh. I was wondering how many farmers, fishermen, and social apologists he thinks he's gonna find among the bunch of murder hobos that hang out around here."

Amistad posts a new expedition recruiting poster on the bulletin board in Gaul and other local towns.

Visionaries wanted following the successful establishing of the new settlement of Pinewood Vale (Amistad town), the continued security of the trade road and the benefits of collaboration with the cyclops fishing and farm jnterests, a new expedition is being created.

Supported by the Duke and church, we trust to meet and greet our northern orc neighbours with the view to establish trading and mining bi-partisan covenants. Recruiting races of all classes and experience. Equal risk shares equal reward and 1st land rights in the openIng of the Northern plains territory.

Interested parties should speak with Amistad in the tavern. Come and join the orc party.

After spending time in Gaul and considering all the options for adventures and gaining renown, Golgarth decides to up the ante and places a poster on the town bulletin board.

"Not much happening locally, winter closing in so can't go too far. The Orc Trek has already left and the Werewolf Hunt has lost the trail. I spy though a small opportunity to serve the populace, Duke and the knights at the tower." he says to the artist designing the advertisement. Hoping for a few enquiries he pays the copper piece and pins the notice to the board, saying a little prayer of faith over it.

Brave adventurers of Gaul

Ruins, Exploration and Reclamation: Bold acolytes and apprentices wanted for 'trip of a lifetime', exploring the nearby ruins of suspected swamp creatures. A raid to destroy the lair of the accursed hatchlings, Bogling critters and reptilian threats.

An opportunity to earn fame and renown in the service of the Duke and good people of Gaul. Seek out Golgarth of Baudh, in the chapel after service or in the tavern common rooms.
