And I have my original blue and yellow dice from the Red Box, as well. I have to admit, however, that I had no idea what the white crayon was for and couldn't read the damned dice very well, so the numbers are colored in with pencil (though I later figured it out and filled them in with white wax, the pencil still shows through on most of the faces).

I have to admit, I did much the same thing--threw those weird useless crayons away immediately (those are kid's art supplies! they don't belong in this grown-up game!) and then had a hell of a time reading and constantly re-marking my dice with pencil or pen.
