personally, I'm looking forward to game with a slightly very slightly more mature group. My prior experiences with groups of people my own age (+/- 5 years) have not gone too well. I'm hoping for a nice change of pace, which I have so far experienced on this site with the few other games I'm currently in.

I'm 26, so I'm on the youngster side I've been playing since I was 11 or 12. My background, strangely enough for this community, is not in old school games, as most of my gaming "career" circles around Vampire, Shadowrun, the likes. Unfortunately, a move separated me from my old gaming group, which sent my real life RP-ing dwindling. I couldn't find a good group to play with in the new place (I tried!), so PbP-ing it is...
Some fun facts: I'm doing a PhD in art history; I love all kinds of weird and obscure and sometimes noisy music (I play in a couple of bands as well).
