OOC III
Re: OOC III
And we're thinking, what, high-level illusionist commanding hordes of kobolds?

Re: OOC III
Surely there is room for other villains. What about the fat evil ancient Dark Lord, Conrad Black, who monopolizes the scroll-scribing industry and spreads falsehoods that directly fill his coffers? Or the harpy variant SellineDyon? Her voice doesn't charm you, but makes you want to hammer iron spikes into your ears to make the sound stop (no saving throw).
Re: OOC III
If we go with Canadian Tomb of Horrors, the big bad name suggests itself: Anorak.
Re: OOC III
In fact, I think I have a name for the adventure: Toque of Horrors.
Re: OOC III
As long as the taverns dont serve Canadian bacon... That would lead to too many game deaths.

How could I forget Conrad! Even his name is perfect.

Re: OOC III
That's probably for the best.
Canadian Trivial Pursuit games are generally started, played and won within 10 minutes.
Seriously though. Where would your science fiction be without Shatner, Michael J Fox and Keanu? Your SNL without Lorne Michaels, Jim Carrey, Dan Akroyd, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman, Gilda Radner, Martin. short, etc?
Hell, the creator of Superman was a Canuck, as was the writer of the novel that became Field of Dreams.
Secretly, y'all wanna be Canadians. Admit it.

Re: OOC III
Side note:
Shatner's costar James Doohan? Canadian.
Neo's Trinity? Canadian.

I lived in Minnesota for 12 years. We're darn near junior Canadians.
Also: O Canada is an awesome national anthem that kicks the pants off of The Star Spangled Banner. There, I said it cause it's true.

I'm from Maine and my mother's mother is Acadian.

Hey, I'm in Maine. Ayuh.
Re: OOC III
Small world! You from Maine, or just residing there at the moment?
There's a nice Tim Sample bit about what it means to be from away that I was painfully reminded of as I typed that question

I'm headed back to my old stomping grounds - The Windy City - for a long weekend. I'm going to eat and drink my way through town so won't be too active over the next three days.
Re: OOC III
I'll be in VT for CarnageCon, so ditto.

Just like Peyton Manning...Keehnelf wrote: You know, it's consistently the case that Ilfrien performs her best when facing off against the toughest possible enemy.

Except that Ilfrien gave up on the prayer-before-battle thing early on...

Re: OOC III
Sorry everyone - strep throat made its way through our family this week after some travels. I'll send an update later today.
Re: OOC III
Is anyone else seeing odd avatar switches besides me?
Also, be sure to save some of that healing for Ilfrien--we might need it when dealing with whatever's in that next room...
