I'm getting there guys. Sorry for the delay.
As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

Hey fellers > have you figured out the dice roller yet? Set up a few macros? It's fairly easy to do, but if you need some help let me know.

I'm about ready to launch this game, but need to know who is ready, character wise, and who isn't.
Still haven't heard about preferences for private threads.

Back at you soon...

Im good to go. Played around with the dice roller, it is really cool but, I think I am going to do it the old fashioned way!!! Since I just got in a pound of dice!!

I will probably use it more when I am not at home and near my dice.

I really don't have a clue whether to keep characters private or not. I will leave that up to the rest of the clan. Im good either way. If we don't put them on here, maybe just have the guys introduce their characters with simple stats and information, so that we sort of know what is going on. Would be helpful to know who to hide behind, er. I mean stand beside. just my 2 cents.

Hate to break it to you, dude, but the dice roller is one of the main reasons I wanted to run the game on here.
NOT...that I don't trust you and your new dice, but just to keep everything fair, I'm gonna have to insist on all of us using the dice roller. It's easy, trust me.

Public, private I have no preference. I'll go with either. Exactly how many dice is a pound?

The online dice roller is fine by me. I still think that private character sheets are a bit better.

You do make a point there... Maybe public would be better.

Morning fellers > I got an itch...to kick this game into gear!!

As for public vs. private threads for characters, we can do both. I'll create a public thread for you to post your characters. You can use the character sheet in the dice roller or you can write down a few stats and such for public viewing. This forum has some pretty neat formatting tools as well.

For example, if you want to post something in the thread that you only want me to see or another player to see, you can do so with the spoiler tag. Like this:

WotOracle's eyes only >
This is how you do a spoiler tag.
Once, your character sheets are added in the public thread, we will be ready to start.

If you also want a private thread for your character and to communicate with me on a more secretive level, I'll get the moderator to set it up. Cool? Just let me know on that.

Marc, I'm setting up a private thread for you; only you and I will be able to see it.
Any of you other fellers want one?

so, went in and set up my macro's for everything. once we get into the game, do we post something form that side? or does it automatically? or do we send to you via pm?

Just wanting to ask before we get to going. By the way, I have played with the die roller, and if we were playing right now, I would be rolling up a new character. mine seems to roll LOW!! I have hit myself 7 times and probably dropped and broke my axe. hahahaha

Also, if you have you created a character sheet within the dice roller application, you can post a read-only version of it in the Characters thread too. Makes it easier than writing something up...assuming you've created it already.
