Dungeon Master:

Procyon has a 10% chance to Hear Noise at the East Door, which is a [1D100] Roll.

Arn listens at the south door.

Listen at south door: [1d100] = 21

Rolling...

Dungeon Master:

Neither Procyon or Arn heard a thing coming from behind either door they listened at:

Humans, Half-Elves & Dwarves have a 10% chance
Elves, Halflings & Half-Orcs have a 15% chance
Gnomes have a 20% chance to hear noise

Thieves, of course can improve on that chance.

As though hearing Jenks' own thoughts, Arn takes a step back from the door with a frown, clearly impatient to get into the thick of some action. 'All this sneaking around is useless, we'll die of hunger ere we ever hear anything through these helmets and thick doors. Where did we go last time, south? Right, east door it is, then.'

He strides over to Procyon and readies himself to fling the door open and step inside, guard up.

Elusev keeps his bow at the ready while Arn opens the door.

Teladrin joins Elusev in covering the door.

Dungeon Master:

Arn rushes into a new hallway that extends at least 25 feet eastward from the lantern light in the doorway.

As long as no-one objects, Arn is ready to continue on in the same order through the first door down the hall.

Dungeon Master:

By the way, you do take notice that the bodies of the 2 Kobold Guards are no longer here in the entry hall, just blood stains now.

And there are trails of drops of blood going up the spiral staircase.

The Doctor says, "It would appear that something has removed those two kobold guards." He looks to see if he can tell anything obvious from the drag marks or trail along with any prints that might have been left behind. "Perhaps we can secure one door as we take the other door to prevent anything from coming in or through the other door from this room?"

"That would be a good idea, my friend."

Jenks looks at the south door to see if it can be secured easily.

"Does anyone have an spikes?"

'Not I,' says the paladin.

Cayley

Cayley shakes her head, "Sorry, no spikes here."

Jenks does what he can with the door

"Well I guees we'll just have to watch the rear whilst we are down here. Lead on McDuff!"

The Doctor agrees, "Looks like we just keep on our toes. Stay sharp. If you are in the rear of the pack watch our backs."

The Doctor will watch the rear if he is in that part of the marching order.

'Alright, keep us covered back there.' Arn follows the same procedure with the first door down the corridor, quickly throwing it open and stepping inside to guard the entryway for others to move in to the sides.

Elusev remains calm and alert as he follows Arn, his bow at the ready.

Dungeon Master:

Does 'same procedure' include the Listen at door check or is Arn boldly opening the first door he sees on the south wall of the new corridor?
