Update:
1) Most of you are already beginning the character creation process. If you want to keep your hit point rolls private (so as to not potentially betray your class (or classes), feel free to message me in your private 'ooc' thread and we can make arrangements.
2) While talking hit points, I've made a minor tweak to the hit point house rules. Basically, for multi-class characters, I added the following: "(accepting the minimum of your initial roll is lower)." Not a huge deal, but I failed to originally clarify how to handle a roll that fell below the minimum.

Update:
I consolidated the house rules a bit and consolidated all the spell caster information into a single 'Spell Casters' section. In this new section I added a blurb about spell components (tl;dr, most likely not needed).

I'm hoping to get an idea of the party makeup, so if you haven't already done so, please create a new topic in your private forums and post your character sheet (or at least what you have to date).

Update:
The following was just asked of me in one of the private forums:
when are you wanting to start the adventure?
My Response
I'm still waiting for a few players to post even a rough character sheet, so I haven't really started to think about how and where I'm going to start you guys, and what I'm going to throw at you.

Once I know what race/class everyone is playing, then I'll dive in. It will likely be next week sometime the way things are looking, but I'm not in any rush. Sometime in October. ;)

Everyone cool with this timeline?

I bet if Ewell would've had a drop or two of dragon blood in him, he would have survived those Foxmoor Trogs.

I'm not touching that.
That's what she said.

Sorry, I still find juvenile humor hilarious.

Update
The 'House Rules' have been updated.

I encourage everyone to look them over and let me know if there are any problems or questions, but the biggest change as it pertains to character generation was to the starting hit points. See: 'Hit Points'

Update
I've been having second thoughts about removing the max hit points at 1st level rule I originally had in place. The last thing I want is to create a group of characters with suspect hit point totals, so I'm tempted to remove this.

I'm guessing I won't receive any objections if I did revert back, but does anyone have any thoughts on this matter?

Not wanting to dwell on it any longer, I've actually gone ahead and removed that rule.

So are we still looking at a 9:00 PM CST 10/6/2014 start time?
