Helvorn hasn't logged in since March 15th. I hope everything is alright with him, but I think Flighty will have to sub for him this time.Eris wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 7:52 pm Donovan and Sigrun chat about dreams as they walk toward the air/lock where they find Zaki already waiting for them. OOC: Flighty has finished shutting things down on the Bridge and is free. Doug has gotten the ship's system switched over to ground operations and could deal with the Utility folks as they hook Dealer's Choice to Shore Utilities by exiting the aft air/lock. Karcsi is free from any immediate responsibilities so could do whatever. Where are Flighty, Karcsi and Doug and what are they doing?
Behind them lounging against the side of a utility vehicle are three more people in coveralls. All five are wearing filter masks and another glance at the screen to see the readings from the sensors shows an abnormally high level of Sulphur in the air outside. It is going to stink like rotten eggs outside, and from the levels you see you'd probably be knocked out in under an hour and dead in three if you run around outside without a working filter mask.
One of the Port Officers reaches forward and presses the button on the bannister of the gangway and you hear a woman's voice through the speakers, "Jenghe Port Authority requesting permission to board."
"Donovan had a sudden stomach upset. Nothing big but he's in his cabin. I'll be the face this time it seems."
If Zaki has filter masks at hand, Flighty will slip one on. Or they might be standard at the gangway. One way or the other, he'll open the gangway and welcome them aboard.
He'll stick his hand out. "Hi. I'm Jamie Quinn, the pilot. The captain is under the weather and our doc has him on bed rest, so I'll be your point of contact today."
