Seeing Strom is temporarily indisposed, Kaltar waits for his response before acting.

Since Ewell has two longswords, plus I believe there was one on the trogs... would we have time to pass one off to a local in round 0, and would that be beneficial? ie their non-proficiency with weapon better or worse than using a pitchfork, twig, etc?dmw71 wrote:Resolving late actions from last thread:

With this being considered a round "zero," ranged attacks (considered short distance) and simple actions (e.g. movement/positioning of short distances) are possible. Melee attacks and spell casting will be possible beginning in round 1.[/ooc]
Few locals have returned to the streets in the relatively short time since the first wave of attacks, and none in the immediate area (other than the heavily wounded Theora). As for whether or not it would be beneficial to hand over a longsword if given the opportunity... there's really only one way to find out.onlyme wrote:Since Ewell has two longswords, plus I believe there was one on the trogs... would we have time to pass one off to a local in round 0, and would that be beneficial? ie their non-proficiency with weapon better or worse than using a pitchfork, twig, etc?

[1d20] = 6
Once again he feel the greater part of his strength abandon him as the smell overpowers his senses
[1d6] = 4
ah... then please let me slightly revise my comment earlier.dmw71 wrote: Few locals have returned to the streets in the relatively short time since the first wave of attacks, and none in the immediate area (other than the heavily wounded Theora). As bad as you fought the first time, I am surprised you are so eager to fight 'em again...Alethan wrote:Are we just waiting on saving throws/actions from Garth and Alordan at this point?

I know, right?onlyme wrote:As bad as you fought the first time, I am surprised you are so eager to fight 'em again...Alethan wrote:Are we just waiting on saving throws/actions from Garth and Alordan at this point?

That, plus with this being my second to last day at my current job, I have been beyond insanely busy with knowledge transfer meetings, wrapping up open tickets in progress, etc... (hence my PM request to you, Ethan (besides, I always seem to screw that up somehow.Alethan wrote:Are we just waiting on saving throws/actions from Garth and Alordan at this point?
Happy to help you out, Dave.dmw71 wrote:That, plus with this being my second to last day at my current job, I have been beyond insanely busy with knowledge transfer meetings, wrapping up open tickets in progress, etc... I actually have a bit of a break and will work on composing the latest action post. If Garth posts his action before I'm ready, I'll incorporate that action. If not, I will NPC for this opening "round."
Many thanks!Alethan wrote:Happy to help you out, Dave.

In this game, Initiative is a d10, with the number basically equating to the segment in the round in which your actions will take place (i.e. lower is better), which is the opposite of the older versions' D6 roll, where a higher roll is preferred.saalaria wrote:Don't do this often so ill have a go:
