Oops, I missed this thread. Can you hit me up with some stats, please?

rolls 1:
7#3d6 12 6 9 7 10 11 9
rolls 2:
7#3d6 8 10 12 8 15 8 7
rolls 3:
7#3d6 10 7 8 9 8 8 9
rolls 4:
7#3d6 12 8 10 8 9 18 10
rolls 5:
7#3d6 8 13 5 12 11 7 13
Sorry man, those are some uninspiring rolls. Set 4 does have an 18 and you can change one of the 8s to a 13, at least.
Alternatively, you could take Set 5 and switch the 5 to a 15. You'd still have a 7 and an 8 but also a 15 and two 13s.
You can swap out the 6 and 7 in Set 1 and have a set with no low scores.

No worries. Let me think about what to do.

Campaign forum is up:
viewforum.php?f=1548
There's an OOC thread and a thread for any questions about character creation.
When you're ready, post your PC in the Character Creation thread. I created a template you can copy.
Let me know if you want to go Young or Old (humans only) for Age.

We have lost a player and are continuing with three. I would welcome more if anyone is interested.
The party is currently deep within a ruined temple dedicated to greed, hidden under an old noble's manor. They are searching for a tome of summoning, crafted with beaten metal pages, at the behest of their patron, a semi-retired adventuress.

To set expectations, I am looking for three posts a week that move the action forward. Some weeks it's three, others it's two, but that's ok. I tend to post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays so weekends are usually quieter but you can post when it suits you.
If that works, let me know and I'll get you some attribute rolls and you can choose a character. I make all the rolls in this game.

Attribute Set 1:
7#3d6 12 6 14 12 13 14 9
Attribute Set 2:
7#3d6 11 14 7 14 6 6 9
Attribute Set 3:
7#3d6 9 8 10 8 11 11 12
Attribute Set 4:
7#3d6 15 14 8 11 5 9 9
Attribute Set 5:
7#3d6 14 18 11 12 13 10 12
A couple of good sets to choose from.
Pull down the free ruleset from DTRPG and decide which way you want to go with your PC. I can supply you with any other needed rolls.

My gut feel is to take set 5, swap Dex and Int and go for a magic-user.

I'm very excited for you to try a Magic-User but make sure you're comfortable with the Dark & Dangerous Magic (DDR) rules before you commit.
You can choose your own Race and Background but let me know if you want random rolls instead.
Once we know your Background, I can make some rolls for skills, etc. Also let me know if you want to be Old, vs Young or Middle Aged.

I realise horrible things might happen with the use of magic. Reminds me of the DCC system a bit (the lanhkmar variant was even more interesting).
I'd like to chose human for race and young. I'm happy for background to be rolled.

I've added you to the group so let's move this conversation to the
Character Creation thread.
