"This way," Malak says as he heads down the narrow passage to the south. Having absolutely no idea where he's going, he turns to look over his shoulder. "Follow me," he says.

Al'Zur steps through the mouth and sees the area in front of him. After the rest come through, he turns and says. "Stay back a bit, I will explore."

He moves down the hallway, using his sight and skills to explore.

And me - I like to at least peek in every room. The lack of that is annoying me in slavers too!

Varkos stops the group so the thieves can be sneaky. He will wait just before the first intersection

Zafalia holds her torch up high to give the others the most light while they go about their inspections and makes sure to keep a visual on Wulfgard holding position at rearguard.

Al'Zur speaks up as they come to the dead end.

"Back it up, nothing to see here."

When he comes back to the 'T' he will turn left and explore some more.

Would'ya look at that?" Malak muses, scratching his head, confused. "Hmm, I woulda sworn there was somethin' here." he says as his progress down the narrow southern passage ends rudely in a dead end.

Malak, regretfully, will assume the role of the caboose as the group following behind him does an about face and withdraws from this useless southern passage. When he reaches the 'T' intersection he proclaims, "Oh, wait, it's this way!" as he points down the path to the right, with the running water and promise of another waterfall. When he realizes that at least some of his group has already started down the opposite path, he corrects himself. "I mean, it's this way." he says as he begins to hurriedly head down the unexplored region to the west.

Just wanted to clarify. You are coming back out to the main passage, east of the red X, and heading back toward the coccoon room? Or south to the sounds of the waterfall? Or westward back through the stone face in the wall? Or some other completely different direction. :)

Based on the most recent map, I'm under the impression that the group exits the southern dead end, arrives at that 'T' intersection (where the green 'F' is to the west) and the right passage, with the water, bends south. Al'Zur indicated he was going left (towards the 'F', which I assume is the face?), and Malak originally said right, but then hurried to catch up with the group heading left.

Once through the face, we'll continue left into the unexplored area. That help?

Day 1 – 2:38 p

.

After the disappointment of the dead end, the party heads back west. They all climb back through the back of the stone face in the wall and continues west to the unexplored passage. It opens up quickly into a cavern. The cavern doesn't appear to have any exits. What makes Al'Zur stop and take pause is that as the torch and lantern light get into the cavern, it has some sort of of blue-green moss on the walls. It has a strange effect on the room, almost like it's all underwater, color wise, but without any of the distortions of being under the water.
It's quiet and nothing seems to be moving in this cavern.

Zafalia is also extremely curious about the strange colored moss and the eerie effect that the light shining on it is causing.

Once Al'Zur finishes poking around and things seems safe, she'll move to take a closer look as well, being careful not touch it yet. She's trying to determine if it could give off spores or might be dangerous in some other way.
