Turnip watches the men discuss who is most virtuous and brave.

"I mean sure, absolutely, you walk in front. But don't forget, gargun are sneaky bastards and love attacking from unseen places! An attack will hardly come from in front of us. I will stay in the middle. Arngeir, do you mind watching our backs? The way I saw it you held your ground successfully against several gargun during our last fight."

Arngeir looks and Turnip and then back to Sir Geraint

"Bravery is Ljarl, important as knight code, given by Sarajin, holy. But not force me to one place, so will guard backs."

Turnip smiles.

"Great. I mean, the cowardly enemy will attack from the back, so that's where you'll get to prove your bravery!"

Murgar

Replying to Arngeir's first comment in Obalese
"Aye, if given the chance I may be able to gain some insight for us there. I'll see what fates Sarajin will tell us if any. I always do so before a journey."
Then to all "Yes, that information helps. Let me see what fates Sarajin is gracious to provide us. I always find it a good thing when going on a journey."

Smiling at Turnips flippant remarks.

Then to Arngeir again in Obalese.
"or she tries to hide her own shortcomings with wise sayings. I think she means no harm, and only wants all to feel their best"
Then again to all.

"Yes first, last, in the middle just tell me where to go. As I said I'm not great warrior, but have fought gargan before. Friend Arngeir let me know what I can contribute for the needed food. While you get that I will seek the Lord's grace and insight.

He will then find a suitable spot to pray and do a casting of crows bones. [1d100]=4

Murgar finds a quite spot where none of the villagers are watching and sits down, drawing in the dirt and chanting softly he cats the bones. He begins to shake and quiver, his breathing becomes shallow and his eyes roll back in his head. he sways back and forth. This continues for a long time (11 hours actually) but Arngeir having seen seers at work before cautions against interrupting, claiming "Sarajin has him now"

For Murgar:
Murgar sees the band traveling through the forest. He sees them digging in the earth. He sees a Khuzdul (Dwarven) ghost fade away. He sees a shadow pass over them as they travel.

Arngeir

While the seer does his work, Arngeir buys another 5 days rations for the group, trading the smallest Amber gemstone (worth 10d)

Turnip walks about, restlessly, while Murgar does his thing. Throwing some pebbles in the water, carving a piece of wood, things like that.

Murgar

The vision is long, more detail than I usually receive. The visions cause me to shake violently I believe. Finally it is ended, and I fall into a deep sleep where I sit by the cast bones.

Hours later I awake. When the others gather I share. "Sarajin has shown me much, there was great detail on our way to this grave. We are going to be blessed to find this souls remains. We will find him buried after we journey through the forest he will be buried in the earth. But a shadow will pass over us, this is probably a sign that we will suffer on this journey, or it could be showing the best result and the shadow is the released spirit of the one we speak. With this word I say we go, yes there could be danger, but what we are doing will bear good fruit."

Village of Meldun, early morning of the 29th of Kelen 720 TZ

Everyone rises early, eats breakfast and is loaded and ready to go at dawn. Starting down the Genin Trail heading west - northwest towards the Kingdom of Kaldor.

You push hard until the overgrown side trail to the ruins of Darcen, heading north - northeast along the old trail.

You can make the ruins of Darcen, with no issue before nightfall or push hard and try and make the Dwarven Outpost, but you will definitely have some traveling in the dark and risk missing the well hidden Outpost in the dark.

Which will it be?

You arrive at the ruins of Darcen with some day light to spare. After some quick scouting the area looks safe and you set up camp for the night against a ruined stone wall. The horses are picketed so they can browse and at least one of you is always on watch. Nothing eventful happens over night and you awaken refreshed in the morning.
