Maxon
Maxon does his necissaries, then gathers his gear and readies to move out. He munches on a hunk of meat wrapped in a piece of flatbread as he does.
Does anyone have any skills as a tracker or scout? If so, you should take point.
Maxon is willing to lead- or he'll be near the front.

Kainaxarthos
Kain has issues of...well...other things rising as he wakes to see Tuurma stretching in the sunrise. He has to bite his tongue as Ceana remarks.
Eventually, he joins the awake. "It's not far, but I would be glad for you to take point Maxon. Ceana can follow close behind to help guide you if she approves."
On the journey, he starts a conversation. "Has anyone heard tales of a comet? The imagery was quite ornate."

Maxon
Maxon will keep his crossbow ready as he travels.
I've heard a few- but none of them are true tales. Just folklore to teach fools some lesson or other, or for the sake of a good story.

Comments And Comets
The group sets out to make their way back to the abandoned mausoleum outside the Old City, following the same path that Kain and Ceana took initially.
Arriving outside the lone structure, they see even more tracks leading through the sand in every direction.

You can get a good idea about how this situation plays out by reading this thread from the beginning.

Maxon glances around at all the tracks. Popular place...
Let's take a look around the outside before we go in- You two didn't do that, right?
Unless a better plan is suggested, Maxon will head off left around the building, inside the wall. Clockwise

Kain nods as Maxon suggests getting the lay of the land. "Right. We kept within the tracks so as to not draw attention. Let's do a loop and then move in."

Ceana
I'll wait here while you guys make a go around. Just in case something or someone decides to come out.

Tuurma looks confused.
"Why'd you want to go around first?" She shakes her head.
"Okay, sure, whatever, I'll wait here too."
She looks at
Ceana for a few seconds.
"What?"
Urson, no image of Maxon? Curious to see what he looks like

I forgot to confront the healing needs of the group in my push to get this started.
Anyone who was injured will regain one Hit Die + Con bonus for resting comfortably for 8 hours.
Please post those rolls here in the game thread so we all get the hang of this rule.
Thanks!

Questions Or Comets
Other than the dots of shambling footprints pressed into the wind blown sands, leading around and away from the lone structure in every direction, nothing of significance is found during a circumnavigation of the ancient building.
The others waiting outside the wall see and hear nothing stir from within the complex. The entire area is as quiet as a…….

Ceana
"Follow me."
The Kelt druid of Yoon'Deh moves forward to the closed doors on the left. She hefts her falcata and listens at the door. Then she tries to open it...

Tuurma checks the rear as Ceana tries to open the doors, trying to keep the open doorways (like those leading to the rooms marked as "1") under supervision as well. We do not want an army of undead in our back, especially not as that hallway looks like a dead end...

Kainaxarthos
"Ok. Now you should make sure there are no traps around." Kain looks from Maxon to Tuurma, then finally to Cormag and Taibhse. "Dammit." He sighs and shrugs. "That's what I get for drinking and admiring the scenery last night."
"The first open door on the left contains a dais and a broken sarcophagus. Ooh! Plus some hieroglyphics. The really interesting one is the last on the left."
He too pulls his weapon and awaits the opening of the door. A little further back from a potential blast zone, though.

Questions Or Comets
Ceana moves up to the first closed door on her left, hearing only silence beyond the unmoving portal. There is a locking mechanism on this heavy stone door, but there is clear evidence of prior tampering, leaving it ruined and useless.
Pushing on the door, it does not give way.
Kain relates what they found beyond the next door, though he is clearly more interested in the final room along the sandy hallway.
Those staying behind see and hear no signs of danger.

He feels his heart pounding and hopes the others don't hear it. Lost in the excitement he realizes the others have out weapons he brings out his bow and readies an arrow. He looks around carefully to see if there is enough vegetation to use entangle in this area, just in case its needed.

If there's no traps, let's get this opened. Maxon joins Ceana, pushing on the door.
