OOC
Re: OOC
So far everyone has been using the one on columbia games website I posted on the resource page. But I just went through and looked at the ones on Lythia and this is the best one I have found. It looks like once you have enabled editing the Excel spreadsheet one will do all the math for you. The PDF is a set of instructions.

Re: OOC
I think I have this right, but thought I would check as I am starting to put together my plan for the scenarios.
shaidar, Ivinian (Human) Cleric of Sarajin
Pulpatoon, Sindarin (Elf) Cleric of Ilvir
GreyWolfVT, Khuzan (Dwarf) ?
hedgeknight, Harnic (Human) Herdsman
Character generation is a long process so no worries about finishing up right away I am just planning ahead some
Would you like me to try and recruit some more players or are you fine with 4? I can make it work with however many we have so that is not a concern.

Re: OOC
Yeah it would.
I will bump the recruiting thread and we also have GreyWolfVT undecided on an Occupation.
Dwarves can be mages in this system and are considered the best Jmorvi mages (the convocation of Artifice or creation of items). They can be any convocation though and they are always at least fair warriors (they get a lot of beneficial bonuses for combat skills and they all get Clansman Occupation in addition to any other they choose).

Re: OOC
I haven't gotten to that whole part of the generation process I just did a 3 hour hike with my family today and kinda beat. Honestly if someone wants to help the generation part of this is kicking my butt.

Re: OOC
I will help with it later tonight Ed. All you need to do is pick a general occupation type and I can do the rest. How about a Fighter/Mage type? You would be strong in Fire/Action. Anything else is fine too.

Re: OOC
Ed, your character is posted in the character generation thread. I think you just need to name him. Feel free to ask any questions. I went with a sword over an axe as you get a +3 sunsign bonus with sword vs +1 with axe. The falcata is a cool sword and sort of a cross between an axe and a sword.
Falcata
I also gave him some high quality gear (not magical)
1. he is a dwarf and that is what they are known for on Harn
2.he has no psionics, magic or rituals
3. I wanted to demonstrate how it works in HM

Re: OOC
So, if I decided to buy a copy of the rules, would this be the right ones?

Re: OOC
I just got to figure a name out for the dwarf. I may just use the name Algrim I've used it for dwarves before.
Thanks for finishing that generation part up for me Rex!

Re: OOC
Are there any specifics about clan names or surnames for dwarves in HM?
