Uggh - extreme Charm successes spoiled by darkness! Combat in CoC is usually deadly.

The free photo hosting site I use, Village Photo, has certificate issues and embedded photos aren't showing up. I can see them on my phone and ipad, but not PC. I'm using a new site now, but a lot of old pictures may not appear now depending on your viewing device. Very annoying.

I'd stated Thurston had his gun at the ready, as I know one gets a +50 on Dex for Initiative purposes. It would seem the dogs are at Point Blank range at this point? Which gives one a bonus die. Rene some pistols fire mutiple bullets in a round.

I would argue that the charm rolls worked quite well to stop Leroy from doing what he was about to do.

By the look on his face, he doesn't seem to understand the sudden flash of darkness either.


And you are correct that you would get the bonus 50 to Dex initiative with pistols at the ready.

The dogs are at point blank range, so the bonus die is also in play.

I believe that makes the order of attacks:
Rene
Thurston
Charles
Dogs
Groundskeeper

So go ahead with your rolls and lets see how this plays out.
