Eh nobody reacted to my "fun" with Roy and his phone playing Burning down the house.

Talking Heads - Burning Down the House spontaneously starts playing on Roy's cell. :P come on...like it was a sign. I figure if I don't say it happens the GM might make it happen by ghostly influence.

Youve never had a blaster caster in the party, stoned playing a video game, jump up and exclaim I CAST FIREBALL.... what you all can make dexterity checks?

I've had a mage that did that in a game I DM'd and well lets say it toasted more than just goblins, tents others of the group.... I think the mage himself was singed.

Ed, I love it! The irony is that I took the time to explain to him what fireballs did and he just looked at me and said... and I quote: "So how many dice to I need???"

Then the 7 year old watching all this burst into laughter and started chanting "Do it! Do it! Do it!"

It was a fun moment. :)

Congrats! You're not a real Caster until you've made at least one really big BOOM!

Well then mission accomplished, so what some friendly fire as well and maybe someone is a little crispier than they expected...but the main goal is completed.

LOL! My favorite moment is how my 7 year old had the idea of taming a goblin. The goblin failed a moral check and tried to run away. Oldest used mage hand to shut the door across the room and hold it shut (was too clever, I let him hold it shut. But now he also calls it "I use the force!" ) then 7 year old went over and gave the goblin a ration and told me. "I want to make him a pet!" Me chuckling, thinking, Yeah right... "Okay... make a Charisma Check... holy crap you did it.... Uh... he eats the ration and gives you a hug..." So that is how my 7 year old got a "pet golbin" name Gurdy.

You know what? I am going to do that next time they come up to a dungeon or a forest or something. I am going to have Smokey F'ing bear there with a sign saying Don't Feed the Goblins just to mess with them.
