Weird, the forum was down for me the last couple of days. But it seems some of you had posted in the meantime.
Should I contact the staff?

It was down all day monday for me. Able to get back in late that day. Sorry to hear about your connection problems. It may be as simple as forcing a refresh or restarting the browser. Dropping a line to the staff isn't a bad idea, they have seen all kinds of strange connection issues.

I restart the browser every time (I've set it to remember the tabs) so it's not that. If the problem persists, I'm going to notify the staff, then!

So, what now? We seem to have thoroughly explored and inventoried the house.

I need to start the next day.
You have a whole world open to you ...
  • A boiler to recover (diving/salvage)
  • A boat to fix
  • the tunnel to finish exploring
  • an arsonist to question
  • anything in the house that you wanted to pursue
As far as the HOUSE itself is concerned, do you clear out any rooms for YOUR use and where do you put the STUFF in that room?

How long will it be before Josephine will be able to dive? If it's going to be a while, we'll need to have Big Jim do the primary work on raising the boiler.

I had to go and look up healing times.
Realistic:
  • 7 days = remove stitches (you can get wet)
  • 10 days = skin completely healed
  • 14 days - 28 days = pain gone and muscles fully healed.
But this is heroic fantasy (we don't have dysentery either) so let's cut it all in half and say:
  • Day 3 = shot
  • Day 4 = Today
  • Day 6 = remove stitches (get wet and light duty - no heavy lifting)
  • Day 8 = cleared for normal duty (still some light pain)
  • Day 10 = back to 100% (no pain).

I'm sorry I disappeared, but I was alone with the kids for a couple of days. It was actually quite fun, just didn't include lots of free time.

The good part is, it seems not much happened in the meantime, so I even managed to reply in the conversation!

Sorry guys ... it isn't you, it was me.

Putting out "little fires" at work when the wheels came off the train. I can finally see my desk again.
So let me get something happening in the game.
Thank you for your patience.

Oh, it's some of us, too.

Who is able and available to question the prisoner/patient? I'd have Routledge stand by, but I don't know that he's the best one to do the questioning. If we have two French speakers, we could do a good cop/bad cop routine.

Let's just say you weren't the only one affected by a sudden influx of things to have done yesterday 8-) .

I don't worry about slowdowns in the games. I have very little of a life, so I'm on about every day. I'm sure other folks have more to do.

Building 11 is a wineshop, right? I'd like to know for sure before posting something like that.

Thoughts on how to play this with Gretchen? Or what's going on overall?

I'm getting the feeling that the landlord is trying to run her off, along with everyone else. Maybe something valuable underground?

I don't think Gretchen is guilty but is being set up.

One might investigate her mysterious tenant ... the one that her Landlord insisted live with her and that works at the Grogg and Tankard.
(but that would involve telling Gretchen about the robbery and why you are in her shop).
