Sam is going to press ahead cautiously into the tunnels panning the flashlight back and forth and pausing every so often to listen.

I wonder what Hrothgar is doing right now? he thinks for a moment.

The readings get cleaer until after about a ten minute walk, you come to another dead end. It has also been blocked up, but it seems old. Even crumbling.

You then see the PKE spikes reading at least 2 Class 4s. Maybe 3?

You then here a scream followed by something metallic.

There is the a dimming of one entity as another strengthens. The third is now registering much better than before now that the other two have distinguished themselves some more.

This is all on the other side of the wall, yet you hear a disembodied voice. You're next, old man...

Another voice speaking urgently. Hey!
GET OUTTA HERE, MAN! RUN! GO! I CAN'T KEEP HIM OFF YOU!

Sam looks around, “Are you talking to me?”

Sam is going to attempt to kick a hole into the brick wall to make enough space to shine a light through and peer through at the same time.

The wall seems pretty solid, at least to the older man's attempts. The voice that warned you against the first gives out a cry and you hear something metallic clank into the wall from the other side. Your PKE sees the third entity weakens and then seems to retreat until it no longer registers. The much weaker on that "Drained" earlier does as well but stays nearby. The second entity is just the other side of the wall and seems much stronger agains still.

There is no answer, but there is a clank once more from the other side of the stonework which shakes, causing dust to fall from it. You PKE is going nuts now reading that it is now a powerful Class 4!

Roll me a hard Cool to see if you resist the urge to flee :)

Sam hits his side of the wall with his bag of garbage, which only has one lonely aluminum can in it now. It clangs against the brick with a small tinny sound that doesn’t compare to the heavy metallic clanking that shook the wall from the other side.

“Good riddance”, Sam hollers before retreating fearfully back down the tunnel.

Sam doesn’t want to be crushed by the wall coming down.

Cool add 1BP [3d6] = 16, Ghost [1d6] = 1

Sam does keep his cool for a moment, but then unconsciously steps back and falls on him bum, dropping his phone which falls flashlight down, plunging you into darkness! You feel the panic overtake you are the screen lights up again with alarms from the PKE as whatever it is on the other side of the wall crashes into it again, the walls, you are sure, shakes!

Sam is going to hurriedly grope around for the phone as it flashes and beeps, then flee to the last ladder he climbed up when he sent his text message. He wants to be above ground again to settle his nerves.

He is able to find the ladder very quickly. Fear fuels your feet, as they say.... as someone says... okay, I just made it up. As he leaves the wall behind, the PKE calms down until by the time he is to the ladder, it barely indicates anything at all other that directionally triggering the sensors. Once he is above ground, the meter stops all together.

OOC: Does Sam see the Ecto1 when he surfaces or are they in a different location?

Sam goes over to the Ecto1 and animatedly waves his hands making beeping and booping sounds while pointing at his phone and says, “Class 4 and getting stronger” and points down into the sewer. “It is behind a brick wall in a southbound tunnel.” Sam describes that there were other entities and the warning he received to run. He doesn’t share the “you’re next old man” threat that emanated from behind the wall partly because Sam doesn’t consider himself an old man and partly because he is trying to make a good impression with the team and doesn’t want the blame for rousing the Class 4 entity in the tunnels.

Sam opens a door to the Ecto1 and rummages around in the gear.

Joker
Joker wrinkles his nose at the smell Sam carries with him. When he hears about the class 4, he gets very serious, very quickly. He fires up his dedicated PKE (not the app on his phone), and hurry over to the manhole. He holds the meter down in the hole, occasionally fiddling with the controls to get a better reading.

Mac

On hearing of the class IV, Mac grabs a proton pack and starts setting up. "Someone with a phone should alert the others."

Sam is going to observe how Mac puts on the proton pack and follow suit grabbing one of the packs and fitting his arms through the straps. He adjusts the buckles carefully until it only bounces around a little as he moves.

“Easier than the phone to operate, right?”

Joker attaches his phone to the dedicated PKE and they link up in less than a second: The range immediately upping the distance and sensitivity of the PKE functions but offering the same familiar display. With the phone pings, and catches the underground readings and you can see the readings that indicate something in the southward direction towards the hospital.
