Xenos
Xenos is happy to take his turn on a watch, choosing a watch period to ensure he gets enough sleep to recover his spells in the morning.

Oh my! And the one with the sigils appears to have a clear lid, but nothing inside?
Recognizing the sigils in the vision,
Magda recalls that awful headache she got back in the dome and she makes a point not to describe, nor even memorize the details of these new symbols.
She volunteers for one of the later watches (maybe 6th, if Xenos is last) before trying to get some rest.

If I remember right, that isn't quite as disturbing as the last time Cyril healed someone

Under The Zakath Desert
Resting At The Mushroom Hut
No Idea On Time Or Day
Cyril offers Akhilleus some more disturbing healing that fixes the fighter up nicely.
Though it is obvious to the others that Magda is quite devastated by the recent turn of events, she gets through the night without breaking down too terribly at the loss of her friend Skavi.
The watches go by uneventfully as there are no intrusions during the night untimed rest period. Once the group is fully rested again, they awaken to the pitch blackness that surrounds them in this desert underworld. The frogs and toads continue to hop around, chirping and gleeping sadly as they move about the hut.

You can each roll your Hit Die to see how many hit points you recover for resting.
While you figure out what you will do next, I will add up an XP reward for everyone before you head out. Stand by.....

Taibhse
Sorry, been a rough 2 weeks.
Before we sleep I can do healing services for
Healing of Raven[1d4]=3
Healing of Raven[1d4]=3
If Magda is suffering from poison I can help there as well.
Once back at the hut Taibhse will put some time in with his book from the witch to see if there is anything for healing or food that can be harvested in her garden.

"A disturbing thing to behold, no doubt. I think we should scout our surrounding tomorrow morning. I fear an ambush may be in place the next time we return if we do not take care."

Akhilleus
"Thank you, Kain and Cyril.
The gods have blessed us with this long, uneventful rest. Even so far from Helios's light, his influence reaches us.
Yes, let’s eat quickly and return immediately. We need to find Drest."

No need. Despite her broken bond with her familiar
Magda is physically unhurt, by the whims of fate
(... or is it because she and the spirit known as Skavi were on separate planes of existence when he passed on?)
She awakens for her watch, and when it's over lights a black candle inside the hut and sits in meditation, occasionally muttering and swooning, to recover her expended spells. Magda then joins the others for a quick breakfast, still somber but acting a bit more like the lively young woman they met only a day ago.

"I agree," Magda says to the Kimmerian.
"Though I don't always keep my promises, I did make one on that note to Drest. Perhaps as a group we can face the fiend that took Skavi. Too, that chamber of mummies I saw through his eyes, is quite compelling."
Accounted for -1 day -2 days rations and -1 flask oil.

Bravo. Akhilleus doesn't have any rations. Must steal from someone, if they allow it

The fun of it is that she had exactly 1 week of iron rations in her bag, and they stayed preserved in limbo the whole time she was a frog. She'd be happy to share. Big men have to eat!
Opening her packets of hardtack and pemmican,
Magda somehow catches Akhilleus' look of hunger and hands them over to the leader with a slight smile.
On that note, what about water? Do we have a Cleric who can create water, or does anyone have a pot to boil the river water?

Under The Zakath Desert
Resting At The Mushroom Hut
No Idea On Time Or Day
After resting, healing, praying, studying, and eating, the group finds themselves at full strength again inside their loud and humid underground abode.
Taibhse studies the Matrons moleskin book detailing the many species of fungus growing in her garden, finding the same information as those who read it before him. (this information has been covered in-game already, at least twice, if my memory serves)
Akhilleus speaks of locating their Scout Drest again as a main priority, but after seeing what happened to Skavi in her vision, Magda has doubts they will ever find any of their missing party members alive again.

Akhilleus thanks Magda for the food. Still munching on it, he says. "Alright. Let's head back and try our luck. I'll be the first one touching that gem. I hope we all end in the same place. Let's go." He dons his armor and helm and leads the way to where they came from.

"We could try all touching each other while one touches the gem. Or at least a couple at a time so no-one is alone."

Cyril
"Terrific idea Xenos. I am willing to travel first with Akhilleus. I believe we saw a dark place, correct? So light will be needed. I spent a part of the night thinking about what more could be done to prepare for the unknown. I don't know if Azathoth will appreciate this but I have a spell which may provide us a hint of guidance."
He holds out his hand and begins tracing the wrinkle lines on his palm, muttering under his breath as he does. The only part that comes out clearly is,
"Please tell us whether we will be able to find our companion, Drest, alive and well, and then return here if we touch the gem that took him from us."

Spells Memorized: Cure Light Wounds, Command, Detect Magic, Light
Level 2: Augury, Hold Person, Cure Moderate Wounds
