The guy stops letting Han take the groceries "Are you sure about this? I usually have a chat, check their vitals, make sure their taking their meds check the place over to see that its clean.
maybe I should call the office." starts to pull a cellphone from his pocket.

"You're not here for Mr Johnston-Smythe?" Han said, acting puzzled. He grinned. "Good thing you spoke up!"

He raised his voice a little, just enough to carry upstairs, as he looked back over his shoulder. "Wrong man, sir. All is clear."

Han gave the young man a knowing grin. "Sometimes he's still back in the thick of the fighting. I have to speak up to make sure he knows I'm not the enemy."

The Man takes the groceries back gives Han an understanding nod and shrugs "It happens, gives me and people like me a steady job."

Doc and Ras hear Han clearly the other they catch most of his words.

Ras breathes again and checks the dead agent over, going through pockets and looking for anything he might have stashed on himself.

Doc nods to Ras and keeps searching.

Doc and Ras dont find anything on the Agents body as the grocery guy walks by and stops at the next apartment, sets the groceries on the floor, knocks on the door "Margaret, its Charlie, I brought your groceries today." leaning on the door as if listening closely "... Yes, I brought those, please open the door."

Doc waits quietly to see what happens next.

Ras stays silent and awaits the rest of the conversation next door, hoping they hear something helpful.

[Demilich]

"No Margeret, There is no water out here, Its me, Charlie, you remember me, dont you?....Okay, please open the door, you wont drown, no, I wont let you drown. Thanks for opening the door, Margeret." the door opens, Charlie carries the groceries inside while asking "Why are you worried..." the door closes its quiet again in the hallway.

Ras moves around the apartment quickly and quietly, trying to find the source of the soggy footprints he saw earlier.

“That didn’t sound good. We might need to leave in a hurry now.”

"Agreed, at least we know the fate of the agent."

Ras notices in the kitchen, he spots what looks like water at first, coming out of the drain up into the sink, watching it it seems to be more of a gel with the appearance of water

If there is still enough of the gel on the floor where the footprints were, Ras takes a closer look, sniffing the residue for a petroleum smell.

"What do you make of this stuff, Doc?"

Doc looks it over and tries to figure out what it is.

As Doc handles the bit of stuff despite having the appearance of tap water the consistency reminds her of the times that she has handled bits of flesh

Ras notices that the gel in the sink is slowly sinking back the drain acting not like water but like a gel being pulled down the drain

Whispering, "Is this ballistic gelatin? If so what were they doing with it in this apartment."

“I don’t know what else it could be. But why is the sink full of it? It makes no sense.”

“If it’s moving around and getting into the apartment next door, we might have something....else...on our hands here.”

The former thief looks for a pan to scoop some of the stuff out of the sink with to gauge any reaction.

Doc will search for a container to hold some for a sample. Pyrex container, tupperware, ziplock bag, glass would be first choice.

Ras find a baking pan and a metal soup ladle
