Are there weapon and/or armour limits for psionicists?
I must admit I would like Silvestri to get access to a firearm at some point.

I was thinking that Kurot could really use something better than a bow and arrow to fire. One of the rifles from the snipers he took down would fit the bill nicely.

Typically, in DCC there aren’t limitations just trade offs. A thief can wear plate but her thieving skills will have a penalty, that sort of thing.

Denslow thinks a pole arm might be even better than an axe for getting all choppy, choppy.

I think this is a good time to illustrate the group's cargo carrying capacity:
Current Travel Rate
Each Cart can carry 400 lbs (800 lbs Total) at a move of 30, which converts to:
- 27 miles per day on road
12 miles per day off road
Due to their slower movement rates, Silvestri (15) and Denslow (20) are each riding in a cart.
If Denslow walks, the group’s travel rate is:
- 18 miles per day on road
8 miles per day off road
If Silvestri walks, the group’s travel rate is:
- 13 1/2 miles per day on road
6 miles per day off road
---
Current Cart Loading
Silvestri = 175 lbs (150 lbs + 25 lbs second brain)
Silvestri’s Eq. = 60 lbs.
Denslow = 300 lbs
Denslow’s Eq. = 50 lbs.
Extra supplies (Rations/Repair Parts) in the carts to keep others at 30 Move (75 lbs),
- Total Load in Carts is 660 lbs, so the available cargo capacity (800-660) = 140 lbs
If Denslow walks (350 lbs out of cart), the available cargo Capacity is (140+350) = 490 lbs
If both Denslow (350 lbs out of cart) and Silvestri (175 + 60 lbs enc.) walk, the available cargo capacity is = 704 lbs (21 lbs of Silvestri's equipment must remain in the carts for him to travel, on foot, at 30)
Comments welcome.

although, from and encumbrance point of view he doesn't want anything heavier than he has.
is the pigmon armour less encumbering than what he has?

No
Studded Leather (current) = 20 lbs
Chainmail = 30 lbs
Scale or Lamellar = 40 lbs

Not a problem. Luckily, the scenario allowed for a delay.

At what distance do you want to engage the pigmonn?
The rifle ranges are 120/240/360, the pistol's 70/140/210.

I was going to engage at 100 yards, and close to melee only if necessary.

Gun/Ammo loot breakdown:
Captured:
(2) Pigmonn rifles
(1) Pigmonn pistol
(41) rounds of ammunition which included (4) rounds in Kurot's rifle, (7) rounds in the second rifle, (6) in Bruce's pistol and (18) in rifle bandoliers (9 ea.)
Kurot grabbed a bandolier (9) rounds, so he took (13) rounds of ammunition.
Bruce grabbed (6) loose rounds, bringing his total to (12) rounds.
Remaining total = (9) rounds of ammunition in a bandolier and (7) in the second rifle (16 total).

I guess Silvestri would have grabbed last bandolier, I'll update the post.

And he's already used almost half of that!
The downside of being really fast is that Kurot runs through ammo really quickly.

True, but you can recover the brass shell casings and have them reloaded.
There is an 80% chance of recovering the shell case from spent ammunition (In this environment).
