Stonejuz: Grills (sp?) is one of those cable survival show guys. Always eating weird stuff he finds in nature and intentionally putting himself in tight spots to demo what to do. Wild man...

Precisely, some of them also seem to be trained to behave like ogres. I returned yesterday so I would have a full day to recover.

I will get the show back on the road...er trail, on the swamp later today.

I'm am bushed. Helping my old man cutting down dead trees and picking up strawberry tree berries is hard work. And tomorrow there will be more tree chopping.

Great thing is, next spring we'll have a couple extra bottles of firewater. Even with the lousy weather this year that screwed up most of the strawberry tree production.

Strawberry wine . Probably tastes better than this Gallo Merlot I have. But I wouldn't want to drink it with meals.

Just noticed...
The Inn of the Unseen Servant is 16 years in the future, from the exact spot, where most of this party started, The City of Greyhawk.
The current year for the Eye of the Serpent group is 575.
The Unseen Servant group year is 591.

Think we can get off this mountain in 16 years?
Some of this group may even be NPCs in the 2.5 game.
Or better yet, actual players at higher levels.

Don't sweat it. Maybe the Grand Duchy of Geoff only has herbivorous turtle species...if at all, so Andrin isn't familiar with them.

A Druid isn't a modern-day biologist after all.

Poor turtlepoo.....He doesnt have it as bad as some turtles but...
Vargr couldnt really keep him out of the creation process, but he wouldnt allow the little guy to fly, like he has in other games. Other crazy abilities the turtle was provided in the past...
1. Hardened shield , once grown to maturity and sacrificed, then magically enchanted.
2. Flight, I mentioned before but thats where the headgear comes in. Stonjuz could ride along with him. Turtle...poo, was much bigger then, and the shell's outer edges were used as grab-handles while used with the chinstrap.
3. Normal familiar, spell enhancement, storage.
4. Flying Carrier Turtle could deliver messages back and forth to the Queen.
5. Speech. He loves riddles. Books too. He has to wear glasses to read however.

There's more but, Im sure Ive frightened at least some of you.

What kind of game where you people playing back then? Forgotten Realms meets Final Fantasy VII?

Definitely Forgotten Realms. That is the setting I played 90% of the time.
Memorizing the names of towns, villians, oceans and gods and such, was never my thing, so one world is just as good as another, but the level of magic in Greyhawk, to FR is something that I am currently trying to get familiar with.

I'm also more familiar with FR, but it's been so long that I've forgotten the realms, so to speak, har har. Always wanted to see Grayhawk and Dragonlance, so this is cool.

Just wanted to check in and apologize for my late post of late. I have been figuring out job stuff and running around quite a bit.
