Regarding the replacing of Cis the druid:
I've got one interested player at dragons foot who said he'd rather roll up his own character. What do you guys think of that? I'm thinking to hold out a few more days and see what other replies come in, but I'm okay with either way.

I dont mind either way. I think adding a new person give us a nice chance to role play.
Not to mention if you kill Cis off it is another chance to role play.

I can't fault someone wanting to roll up their own character. It's what I would want to do.

I'm good with whatever you decide here, ToniXX.

You don't necessarily have to kill his PC off to get a new one introduced... :)

... you could just npc 'em until such time as they get called back to the grove and be replaced by their fellow from the order, blah, blah...

Your call either way. Wasn't longtime member zirlock looking to join a game??

I've just outlined Cis' spells. LeeBrown hadn't done that, so it's done now. After NPCing Cis for a bit, I'd like to keep him in the party instead of rolling up a new character. I'm going to hold out replacing him for a bit more, hoping we can find someone who'd take him over as is.

Sounds good! He certainly isn't a bad build. I'm sure we'll find someone!

+1 Agreed!

Btw, I have an FtF gaming buddy that wanted to try his hand at the PbP thing. I'll give him a call tonight and see what he says. If you already have someone in mind, no worries! :)

Nuke66 stepped up to play Cis. He said he'll bow out of the character if someone new comes along. I've already set his PC post and made him a member of this group.

Good show. Welcome aboard Nuke!!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I'll clarify... by that, I meant, "WTF??"

For PvP, go play WOW.

oh my bad i didnt think anyone was opposed to role playing here.

you know like setting up a character with emotions and reasoning and a backstory.

i dont recall ever PvPing anyone, i guess words hurt you easily.

just to clarify, I am trying to play this game based on how my character would react
and yes saying threatening things fall into his personality.

Maybe you should play WoW since there is no character development there.

And to clarify, I dont see a Good character and a Evil one having tension and problems as a bad thing.
I am not planning on attacking any PC since that ends the game but I am all for each character playing to
who they are.

Yarl is acting how he would and being annoyed at what would annoy him. We are both playing a game and not agreeing, how in the world would a bunch of different characters in a life or death situation all get along all the time?

Do you understand what I am saying?
