If the warriors are banging away to little effect, then I think Quint would burn his other sleep, especially if it's apparent that Thurgan just barely dodged that poison bullet.

Yeah, if we don't take them down soon, I think more magic is called for. We're basically playing russian roulette here.

Ok, finally had a chance to catch up, yes sacrifice the +1 shield. Even after losing 4 hp Thurgan will still have 22 hp and AC3 so should really still be in the front line,

Thurgan still has the shield, but it is now non-magical.

FYI, I'm heading out on a working vacation tomorrow (11/24) through 12/14. I expect to have internet access for most of the trip and imagine I'll be checking in to the game most days, but there may be days I'm traveling or immersed in the vacation and not posting. If I'm not responding in a timely fashion, please puppet the character.

I expect to mostly be without real access Monday and Tuesday, due to flying overseas.

You're lucky Todd's running. I wouldn't have rolled the save until after you decided whether or not to burn the shield.

I will, thanks! While I'll still be working, I'm looking forward to the change in scenery and some more mental and creative space.

I'll be in Spain, not far from Granada, visiting close family.

Hi, all. FYI, I didn't bring the right power adapter with me, and only have about 30 minutes of life left on my laptop. I need to find a solution, but the nearest Apple store is a 4-hour bus ride back in the direction I came yesterday, so there may be a delay on my return.

Not me. Unless one of the others chimes in with "knock", I guess the options are -- try the other tunnel, or try to break down the door. I'm not keen on the latter -- too noisy and draws too much attention.
