Osric hearing the cry shifts attention to the wounded comrade..

"I can do nothing for this." He declares and turns toward the creature, raises his hammer and shouts

"By the power of Thor I banish you, back to the depths of the grave."

Eyes wild with adrenalin and fear for this friend, Tub attacks again with short sword and dagger:

Short sword, damage s-m [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6, large [1d8+1] = 8+1 = 9, to hit [1d20] = 6
FRICK!

Dagger to hit: [1d20] = 13 Dagger damage: [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5
Fingers crossed.

The creature continues to flail at scy

[1d20] = 4
[1d20] = 11
[1d20] = 11

just realized 11 is a hit I was using fighter hit chart not monsters

both claws rake across the ranger

[1d4] = 3
[1d4] = 2

roll 1d20

tub misses the creature with his dagger strikes but scy once again sticks it with his spear.

The creature staggers as a hunk of flesh falls away, but you notice there is no blood flowing from the wound.

Osric gives a mightly hammer swing
bringing the weapon down on the things skull
[1d20+2] = 18+2 = 20

Half of the creatures head sheers off and it continues to stand for a moment and weakly reaches out for one less swipe before collapsing.
[1d4+4] = 3+4 = 7

Tub angrily kicks the sheared head bit away from the creatures body and looks at Scy.

Hoping Jonus is wearing something flammable, Cilian spreads his fingers and sends fire searing into his face...

Cilian tries to swing his staff at the scum before he can leave, but finds himself too drained from casting to be effective...

To Hit, Staff [1d20-1] = 8-1 = 7

He slams the door shut and secures it, if possible, then runs to Vik's side to make sure he isn't really dead...

Cilian slams and bars the door and kneels next to the unmoving vik.

Shaking the young churl causes him to stir and his eyes flutter open.

"Jeez, Vik. You scared the crap out of me, man. I thought you were dead!" Once it appears Vik is aware of his surroundings, he says, "Your friend Jonus left out the door, I'm afraid. It sounds like whatever they found in the attic in the other room is dead, as well... but I still don't think we're alone in this house. Something in the room behind the kitchen door."

He then remembers Sergius, turning to him to see if there is anything he can do for this friend, now...

Viktor opens his eyes to stare up in Cilian's face. "What the .... ?"

Vik nods he's okay and tries and collects his thoughts. He grabs his short sword off the floor and moves to the front door as quickly as he can. "Hope that bastard ain't takin one of our horses. Or Korec's wagon!"

"Vik, bar the door again and help me carry Sergius into the other room. I think Jonus just cast a spell to freeze him; hopefully it should pass with time. But we need to group back up and stick together until we're sure this house is safe."

Cilian grabs a hold of Sergius and, with Vik's help, drags him into the dining room.

Before Viktor moves back inside to bar the door and help Cilian drag Sergius to a safer spot, he steps out on the porch to see if he can catch a glimpse of Jonus as he rides away. He wants to try and determine which direction the man is fleeing, if he can. "Some bitch got away!"
