Tuurma swings wildly, seeing hardly anything in the flames and the smoke, completely missing the zombies as they back off....temporarily.

Having dragged Kain to relative safety, Ceana turns to face the ooze. She steps toward it, brandishing her torch, and tosses the firebrand at the ooze's body.

With Kain well out of the way, Belloc and Ceana join up to attack the smaller blob of grey ooze. Though neither of their attacks are successful in injuring the thing further, Ceana notices that the heat from her torch doesn't seem to bother the sticky substance.
Just outside the door, Cormag and Taibhse finish off the lone zombie on them, watching in horror as Tuurma is engulfed in sickly green flames and a small horde of undead. The enraged woman flails wildly in the smoke and intense heat, but she doesn't seem to be injured by the inferno herself. Once the flame dies down however, the zombies reengage, biting and clawing at the vulnerable fighter, ignoring the significant damage they just took from the fire. Tuurma is hit again, then bitten again, but the ornery female absolutely refuses to fall from her mounting wounds. 4 dam/-1 STR
5 zombies remain on Tuurma, all of them injured. 4 zombies are still eating Maxon, none of them are injured, but one of them appears to be headed towards the group.

Tuurma, bleeding profusely and obviously slowed down by the constant hampering of the undead, somehow finds the strength to keep on swinging her borrowed axe amidst the flames.

Knowing Kain is safe for the time being, the Kelt druid considers something crazy. She casts a spell upon herself (Fire Resistance) and heads outside to help Tuurma if she can. "C'mon! We're gonna die one or another. Best do it fighting!"

As the last of the green flames die down into the hot sand around her, Tuurma knows she is outnumbered and about to fall, which only serves to intensify her rage. She is able to chop away at 2 more of the half-burnt zombies, knocking them from the fight as Cormag and Taibhse mercifully charge in to aid the badly wounded berserker. Cormag eliminates one more of the monsters with one blow, leaving only 2 remaining fighting against the three of them. The weak counter attacks by the suddenly outnumbered zombies prove ineffective.
Ceana takes the time to cast a spell upon herself before she too charges out into the fray. When she exits the crypt, she can see the zombies that were munching on Maxon's dead body at the end of the hallway have started migrating towards the battle now as well. None of these oncoming monsters appear wounded, but thankfully, their slower movement keeps them from entering the fight yet.
Belloc continues his cat and mouse game with the grey blob inside the crypt, luring it in one direction before he steps away and fires his sling again. His attack does nothing to thwart the beastie this time, and the mage knows his earlier spell that reduced the size of this thing is about to wane, becoming quite nervous when he sees Ceana leave him alone to fend off this monster all by himself again.

Cormag lashes out at one of the still standing zombies, hoping if the last drops before the other group arrives, Tuurma will be willing to break off battle.

Belloc fights for his life all alone inside the crypt, slinging another well placed rock into the grey mass, hoping to kill it before it regains its original size. This wound seems to stagger the ooze slightly, as it slows its approach towards the evading mage now, possibly looking for another way to get an easy meal.
Outside, in the hallway of death and undead, the battle continues raging as well. Tuurma, Taibhse, and Cormag permanently destroy the pair of burnt zombies who were still standing, hearing Ceana as she calls out her warning from behind them. The strong Keltic woman fires an arrow into the closest oncoming zombie, watching as the shaft pierces directly through the body without causing injury. As the monsters continue shambling towards them, Tuurma, who can barely keep herself upright at this point, nearly tramples her friends trying to get back into the fight.
One by one, smeared with blood and organs, the engorged oncoming zombies stand from their hot meal and head up the hallway towards the action.

Hearing this, and seeing how her arrow was ineffective against the oncoming zombie, Ceana darts back into the doorway and fires an arrow at the blob. "Get away so I don't hit you!" she yells before she draws and fires.
