Cormag laughs and shrugs As long as there is promise of battle and baubles to shower on deserving women he pointedly isn't looking at the red haired bartender it is all the same to me!

"It seems we are settled. I wish everyone Luck in their endeavors and perhaps we will all meet again and have a chance to exchanges some lies about what happened."

Over Ale's
Early Afternoon
After much discussion and even more drinking, the group of 12 decides to break into two smaller groups of 6 before they head out on their designated journeys. Kain wisely suggests they stick together as a larger company, agreeing to meet up again once both groups have returned.
Xenos seems pleased that Cyril was able to be talked into going along with them, rounding out their group a little better.
Tuurma and Cormag agree to join up with Kain and his group, who have already scouted out their next mission and could head that way anytime. The group going into the desert to search for something they have little information about, most importantly its destination, talks of stopping at the Bazaar to purchase more supplies.
Actions?
Kainaxarthos (wishing to clear out the Forgotten Mausoleum)
Maxon
Ceana
Taibhse
Tuurma
Cormag
This group can pick back up in the Mausoleum thread once they are ready to depart.
Xenos (seeks an abandoned fortress of a long forgotten Ixian warlord in the desert to the north east)
Akhilleus
Drest
Cyril
Kang
Valkrina
This group can finish up making their plans before heading out to buy supplies.

"What else do you know of this fortress, Xenos? Do we know how far to the south it is or why it was abandoned?"

"All I know is that it lies to the north east. Maybe there are those that know more in the city, knowledge passed down."

Before someone goes running off to secure lodging or more information, I would suggest everyone shares what they have each learned from their backgrounds and hooks.
Done correctly, this will aid both groups with vital information before you leave.
If you don't like that idea, suit yourselves, but do remember, Hyperborea is a dangerous world.
And if you did this already.....thank you!

Not sure she has learned much except a suspicion that a lot of the city is involved in a Cthulhu type cult (and by default, of evil or at least chaotic alignment), the oasis houses some Neanderthal looking slaves in shackles that might be cannibals who conduct ceremonies in the desert and everyone is afraid of undead who come out at night.

I have to admit I have little knowledge. I came in search of that and was lured here with thoughts of encountering undead.

Cormag is all ears. He's willing to spend a bit, if it appears that it's needed, though he has spend nearly all his coin getting this far. Making a near immediate departure from the city, where he assumes things are expensive, seem a virtue.

Ceana
Staring into her...hell, she can't remember how many she's had!...at least her third mug of ale, the Kelt druid begins to speak. In somewhat of a monotone, she relates her vision from Yoon'Deh:
Huge snakes, small snakes, snakes of every size and color. These snakes hiss and scurry, leading me out into the desert alone where they eventually converge upon a single area. I find myself in front of a ruined structure or building of some kind upon a large plateau of sand, though I know not where. The snakes continue on towards the structure, stopping just before its front doors and amassing around a sole figure laying upon the sand.
Once I catch up to them, I find something horrible. There is a dead man with dark skin lying on the sand, his upper half is human, naked, with a square head and jaw filled with manually sharpened teeth. His legs appear to be more snake-like, twisted together to form one, complete with a tapering tail where his feet should be. As I look over the body, the snakes who led me here slink off into the building right before it implodes, sinking deep into the sands of the desert where I spot a bright light suddenly flash at me from below before the entire area is engulfed into the never ending sands.
She drains her mug and throws an arm around Maxon. "This mausoleum...if it don't kill us all, it'll only be by the blessing of Yoon'Deh. And if one of you buggers turns into a snake man, you're gonna be sliced into little serpent gibbets for the crows!"

"Snakes, doesn't everyone hate snakes. I have spent some time in the slave area, filthy bunch as would be expected. Weird goings on at night and I had a vision of them that leads me to believe they practice cannibalism. Be careful there for sure."

Xenos gives Drest a look
"Not all slaves are like that bunch, they were...disturbing. A plateau? I wonder if we can find a map of the area, and Drest, what do you mean by wierd goings on?"
