Can I retroactively add some purchases to the list before we left town? Sorry I'm just posting now but I was on vacation this weekend.
If so, I'd like to order plate mail for Marodin.
Were we able to sell our old armor?

Of course. Things were moving pretty quickly, I know. Yes, you can order plate armor. Old armor can be sold at half price.

Going by the Treasure List, here is what I came up with for figuring our Group XP:
30ep+50ep+1000ep+6000ep = 7080ep = 3540gp
400gp(chest)+90gp(bracelets)+2000gp = 2490gp
3540gp+2490gp = 6030gp = 6030 XP
Assuming 9 equal shares of XP (if that is agreeable to everyone): 6030 XP / 9 persons = 670 XP per person
By the way, for the record, I fully support giving Thieves (or other PCs, for that matter, but especially Thieves) the full XP value for treasure that they obtain by pickpocketing, scouting ahead and finding and stashing little treasures, etc. They are Thieves, after all - it's what they do. Of course, they may have to cope with feelings of guilt later if they do not share (and possibly the wrath of the rest of the party, if their thieving is discovered!)

However, I do believe, from the IC posts, that all of the amounts above (even the small amounts picked up by individuals) were picked up in plain sight, so I am counting it all as "group treasure". Sound ok to everyone?
By the way, if I overlooked any treasure, please let me know.

I'm playing my thief as an honest thief, not going to steal or hold out from you though I'm sure not going to give a cent to the tax man if I can help it. I'm Portuguese, we have a reputation to keep! :LOL
I'm going to have to take a look at the rules to see what I can buy that I can use.

I am ok with giving Thieves full xp for pickpocketing as well. However, the first time Thordin is missing money, both thieves will be named lefty.

If they get to the money before I do, whatever they steal is theirs, fair and square. I agree with the tax man thing.
Just so we come to an understanding, Thordin is not ok with giving his share of the money out to helping others, dwarves and group members aside.

There's also the 1000 gp from the reward, right?
We should also split the xp listed by thirdkingdom on the Kill List thread.

Does this include the XP from before, when we first got back to Threshold?

No. I figured this earlier on page 7 (Hmmm. Posts aren't numbered, apparently). Essentially, each PC gets 175.5 XP from monsters and the reward in addition to what frobozz just posted.

What's the situation as far as churches in town? Are individual Immortals going to be named or can I assume the entire pantheon of good Immortals are worshiped "en masse"?
Are there any benefits to Marodin tithing some of his new-found wealth?

Let me give you an answer when I get home this evening and off my phone.

Don't know if they've been included in any treasure XP or money but we still have the broken opal bracelets from the skeletons. Tratiln stored them at the moneyguild

I have just added a bit to the Setting Fluff thread about the Immortals. One thing to note. While there are no "magic stores" there are three ways to get potions: from a church, from an apothecary, and from a magic-user. Inquire for more information if desired.
sulldawga wrote:Are there any benefits to Marodin tithing some of his new-found wealth?
I have added a bit to the House Rules section on the inclusion of an XP Reserve, a concept I blatantly steal from the Adventurer, Conqueror, King system. We can use this if you like; I normally do, but for some reason did not mention it earlier.
Also, in terms of buying stuff: feel free to ask what's available. I.e. "George will inquire about town as to the availability of healing potions" or "Jesco the cleric would love to find a suitable magic item, and over the course of the next week he spends 100 gold buying various strangers drinks in hope of hearing rumors about such a thing."

They were, as far as I can tell, included in frobozz's calculations.

To clarify something I have just touched on tangentially: I am a firm believer in revealing/developing the setting as play occurs. So, if you have questions about something I have either mentioned in passing or have not mentioned please feel free to ask for clarification or expansion. Sometimes I will answer stuff OOC (such as the stuff about the common religions) while others I will have you all learn IC (if you want, for instance, to find out more about the Cult of Halav).

@frobozz. Is Lanny spending any money buying drinks and loosening tongues, or is he just listening to the talk around him?
RE: Taxes. I think the easiest thing to assume is that taxes are built into the cost of purchasing goods; a small tax is built into each exchange with the Moneychanger's Guild. In addition, landowners must pay some sort of yearly tax, based on the amount of land owned and other trivial factors. There is also some minimal fee to enter a city, a copper or two, that for PCs is part of the cost of living expenses. So no, the treasure adventurers bring into cities is not taxed directly. The Crown, in fact, looks favorably upon the service adventurers provide in bringing wealth out of musty caves and forgotten dungeons and into circulation.
EDIT: That being said, tax collectors are still not looked upon a favorable light by most adventurers.

Lanny is sitting quietly at the inn enjoying a glass of wine. Now, if a fellow enters the inn and looks like an adventurer of some kind with a story to tell, Lanny will welcome him and offer to buy him a drink.
