Rick will try to stay under cover and get a better look at the vessel. I know using his magnigoggles will be awkward with his suit helmet on but he will give it a try. How far away does it appear to be?

You estimate that you are within 5 kilometers of the vessel and closing fairly quickly.
this is what he posted guess you ,missed that part, im thinking it might be the destroyer.

Yeah, apparently I don't read thoroughly enough.

Rick will try to remain concealed and observe. If he is able to get a better view through his magnigoggles, he will do so. Since it is within 5 km, then it is also in range of our radios so I will avoid using it for now in case they can overhear.

Daz replies over her comm simply, "Yes, please assist us. Our cargo container was separated from its freighter."

While we are waiting, if possible I want to mark the position where the device was last seen. Hopefully it went the opposite direction as the bodies.

the ship was Dark Despair,the crew we dealt with were
Crew 1: Thomas Crenshaw (H)
Crew 2: Dredge Frontar (D)
Crew 3: Ghord Talar (Y)
Crew 4: Fenrick Gratar (H)
Crew 5: Gredon Jillune (D)
Crew 6: Bzit Lermore (V)

to approaching vessel, this is Ghord Talar, ships robotics specialist, there seems to have been a malfunction of the pod drop system and we seem to have been released from our freighter.Our ship is the dark despair.

TRpin that was Lloyd asking for the incoming ship to be recognized. We can probably go with the crew names. We might have to cover ourselves if they run into any of those corpse-sicles

The radio crackles again, "This is the U.P.F. destroyer, Solar Streak. Can you amplify on your situation? Also, hang on to something as we will have to grapple your cargo pod and we wouldn't want you to go flying out into space."

Over our comm, “Rick, maybe come back inside to avoid the grapple, or come back toward the elevator hatch.” Since most of us were already secured, we should be good. Lloyd will help anyone who needs tethering and then get hooked back up himself.

Going to take a quick scan around to see how much battle damage is inside the pod. In case we need to explain.

There are perhaps 2 dozen shot marks on the bulkhead, but, without power, they are all in the dark. As you get secured to your places, you wait for a few minutes and then feel a sudden change in movement and you are lurched pretty hard. The bulkheads around you buckle under the strain and nearly collapse on you. After a minute or so, your comm system comes to life; "Okay people, make your way to our main airlock. Just look for a rotating light around it and come aboard. If anyone needs medical attention, let our officer at the airlock know."

As you look toward the ship, you see the massive destroyer is about 50 meters away and on the port side of the ship, you see an airlock with running lights around it just as the voice message said.

If it looks like a destroyer, Lloyd will follow. For now he’ll holster his weapon and disengage from the tether to get moving.
