No just leave them here. The barrels will keep stuff preserved for a season at least and the ale won't go off. Didn't the very first expeditions find a wagon, make it serviceable and take the goods?

For the IC record, I think that if good trade can be established between the orcs and Pinewood, Sir Piers would still have a say on representing the Duke. With Halfpint (Lady Halfpint) formerly overseeing the frontier settlement from a feudal perspective, it makes sense for her to continue negotiations with Sir Piers and the orc band. Hence Amistad, with his PTSD from the exped will winter out in Pinewood and then set sights on a new venture. I don't think, at this point anyway until he finds some personal redemption for the loss of the four lives, Amistad would consider returning to the orc tribes.
