Nerith "Well now lets check on your friend then shall we?" the outdoors-man says to Elerik seeing the mage still unconscious he wonders what exactly did the goblins do to the mage. "Guess they really hit him hard to be out this long."

"He was unconscious the whole time we were tied up."

Preacher Cardicus

Perhaps he is tracking a powerful spell and will return to consciousness when he has it. I have heard rumors of such strange things.

The night passes without incident, although the spring weather finally catches up with the party, and a light rain begins to fall around 4 am. It is still raining when day breaks, three hours later, and the more weatherwise amongst the adventurers are opine that it is likely to continue raining for most of the day. It shouldn't affect travel, too much -- the rain is relatively mild, more of a mist, really -- but it might make it more difficult to espy lurking enemies or hamper potential missile fire.

Nerith looks unfavorably at the weather "I'd like to keep on moving but this rain will make it a bit more difficult to spot foes and won't help if we used ranged weapons. Perhaps we find a drier location to wait the rain out?" he suggests and asks the others.

Elerik

"That is fine with me if you are not on a time frame to complete your journey?"

He squints into the gloom, pulling a face as he gets wetter by the minute.

Nerith "We didn't really have any time frame limitations. At least not the terms I remember."

Bodhi becomes very fitful strapped to the litter before coming around to consciousness. "Goblins!" he hollers before. "Let me go you foul despicable creatures. You have no idea of the magical might you are enraging at this moment!"

Calling to the others, "Hey, the mage is waking up!"

He runs over and begins helping untie the struggling wizard

Nerith goes to check on the mage "Hey whoa there calm down. I do take offense to being called a goblin you know. If you'd stop struggling It'd be easier cut you free." the outdoors-man sets to freeing the mage and removing the litter from the mule glad to be done using it. "Bodhi pleased to meet you I am Nerith Ashsurge." he greets the fitful mage.

Bodhi looks around, regaining his senses. "My deepest apologies," he says to Elerik and Nerith. "The last thing I remember is Elerik and myself being way-laid by that group of goblins. Apparently they realized I was man of mysticism and re-leaved me of my senses by way of a large blunt object to the back of my head." He turns to Elerik. "I am assuming we have Nerith and his compatriots (?) to thank for our release?"

"Indeed we do. They killed several of our captors and drove the rest off into the forest."

Nerith "Yes for the most part, we did take part in scaring off the goblins. Sometimes barbarian tactics work against the green skins. We charged in and they took flight leaving trails of urine and a tied up knocked out mage."

Elerik can take first watch (I was doing it). Also, there's something powerful about 2 clerics in a group. It facilitates 2 separate squads, each with its own cleric. I've seen it before: front and back; left and right - Just food for thought, says the preacher. Bodhi the Wizard, welcome to the adventure. I am Preacher Cardicus, he adds.

"Yes, welcome all. I agree that 2 clerics is a good thing. I would like to take a night off from watch and try to rest up my arrow wound."

I will take 3rd watch for Drust, says the preacher.
But what you really need, Drust, is a CLW. I happen to have one.

Here, have some healing; CLW=[1d8] = 8

Nerith "I'll take watch as well, being that I don't have spells to study or pray for. I can be of use for a watch shift."

The day passes uneventfully as the adventurers camp, keeping a small fire going to keep off the slight spring chill that comes with the rain. Apparently any nearby threats have also decided to hunker down, as they spend the day in peace, getting to know each other. The rain finally stops around six in the evening.
