Keilif:

Facing off with the goblin, Keilif takes aim at the wretched creature's head and swings his mallet with all his might.

Ermulf Jormundson:

Ermulf's grandfather's words come to him once again, Did I ever tell you young 'uns about lord Grinfang, he slew a thousand goblins by himself when they conquered that mountain over there. hundreds of years ago it was, but they blew that mountain right up, knocked it's top right off. let the sun in and sent the goblins into a panic, they don'tvlike the sun you see...

Ermulf thinks back on the old tale, and takes a risk. He side steps the goblin and stabs his pitchfork through the window, letting the full brunt of the suns rays in, hoping to spook the goblin so that Jervis can catch it unawares.

Ben has seen some hand to hand combat before - but that was fishing and whaling out at sea. He has never gone toe to toe with anything not human or fish. Spurned on by his initial hit and the ferocity of his comrades beside him he takes another swing at the creature before him fueled by adrenaline.

Alec
The blacksmith -turned -berserker  laughs a harsh laugh and slams his crowbar across the throat of the goblin he has pinned.

Initiative [1d10] = 5
attack [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19
damage [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5

Jónas Gillman

Inspired by Vhing's wonderful resurrection, Jónas draws his knife and rushes into the room, hopefully just in time to stab goblin 1 or 2 (whichever he has better access to).

Initiative [1d10] = 5
Attack with knife [1d20] = 12; damage [1d3] = 2

stands on guard, first enjoying the view of the surroundings, then, slightly bored, playtests his cantrip in the air in front of him just because it's so cool. "Shazam! Bush enveloped in illusory ink cloud! Zap! View of sun obscured by non-existent ink cloud! Wow....."

Doubtful

With Jonas and Keilif going to help the others with the goblins, Doubtful stays by Vhing's side in the hall. He glances frequently back and forth to Burly and Danny so as to make sure the others are ok out here and in case anything else comes along. Resisting the urge to throw something at Danny for choosing this time to be distracted by prestidigitation performance art, he merely rolls his eyes....well, scanning the floor nearby for a likely projectile just in case he gives in to temptation.

Leaning over Vhing to whisper, No one is leaving you alone with the cat. Thought I didn't hear you as we were coming up the hill, huh? Shoo-Fly's keeping all four paws.

Goblin Hideout
Round 2

Doubtful keeps an eye on both Danny and Burly as they keep guard on the front and back doors and stairs. He whispers sweet somethings into Vhings ear as Shoo-fly, the scraggly tag along barn cat, silently licks at the half-orcs blood pool. He gets only slightly perturbed as Danny looses interest in guard duty quickly and begins testing his ability to his create his minor ink cloud illusion.

Being unconscious and nearly killed didn't stop Vhings gift for gab as he babbles on and on to Doubtful about his deaths door visions involving Juli and her giant boobs.

Inside the once beautiful dinning room, the battle with the goblins is just getting good. Keilif sprints into the room with his mallet swinging. Just as Ben is about to swing again, the goblin ducks. Keilif whacks that woozy goblin in the head and knocks it to the floor quite dead.

Alec has better luck fighting against things with only two legs. He laughs at the goblin that he has pinned against the wall due to his powerful charge. He thrusts the pointy end of his crowbar into the things neck as a retaliation for the arrow stuck into his comrades throat. The goblin squirms a little and tries to spit at the hated dwarf. Alec thrusts upwards with his makeshift weapon and snaps the things scrawny head from its shoulders. It's lifeless facial expression doesn't change as its head tips to the side in a grotesque rubbery manner.

Jonas also rushes into the melee with little fear. He sees that two of the goblins are already dead so, he moves to the left in order to help the fighting types. Ermulf thinks about his Grandpas heroics and decides that, instead of stabbing at the remaining goblin, he wants to smash the partially opened window in order to let even more light into the room. He succeeds and the window breaks with a loud crash.

Jervis and Jonas are unsuccessful in their attempt to eliminate this last threat because the creature spins away from them quickly, diving half way out of the now fully opened window.

Actions!

The last goblin is attempting to flee so, Ermulf, Jervis, Alec, and Jonas can get free attacks on it. If it isn't hit, it will make it outside of the house, trying to flee this huge group of adversaries.

Injuries:
Jonas, slightly
Vhing, seriously

Vhing Cranepool

Vhing pats little Shoo-fly on the head, "lap it up little buddy, there's plenty of iron in that." Sensing the room fight is coming to a victorious conclusion, Vhing will stand back on his feet, perhaps still a tad unsteady. "no rest for the wicked as Ben said."Vhing will take over guard duty from Danny and scout around the entrance hallway. He wants to compare the faint trail he discovered in the dust with human and goblin sized prints and check also if the trail only goes up the stairway and not the other two corridors.

(I rolled a 3d6 'normal difficulty' skill role of 8 vs13 intelligence)

Burly sees Vhing stagger to his feet and almost hurries to help him, but stops after taking a step in his direction. "Easy now, chief, you'll start spurting blood again."

grateful for seeing relief approach in the form of Vhing, Danny nods thanks and then makes a second attempt at going inside to help his battling friends, making a wide berth around the half-orc to ensure staying out of random bodily emission range. On his way towards the goblin skirmish, he, like last time, prepares his Squid Pro Quo cantrip.

Doubtful

Muttering something to himself...like herding cats...

As Danny walks by to go to the killing room Doubtful asks him, Let me know if you find anything noisy in there we can tie to tripwires.

Doubtful then gestures to Burly that he will take Burly's position since he has been stuck there on watch and then moves toward Burly's position.

Burly pats Doubtful on the shoulder and then moves quickly to where Vhing is trying to stand up and peeks into the room. Noting the carnage, Burly just shakes his head and says,"You're lucky to be alive, as are others! Things could have been much worse!"
