I'm thinking of dropping ESP for Audible Illusion but keeping both Sleeps for use against the Ur-orcs, unless anyone things a Charm Person, Light or Magic Missile would be more useful. Personally, I don't, given what we know is ahead.

Also, in his free time going forward, Quint will begin to study... hmm. Feather Fall, I guess.
Go for it.

So... if Rhys used his magical +1 arrows, then they would not be affected by the grey ooze and would be reusable?

Not that it really matters that much... I can just mark off 4 arrows.

Hopefully sooner rather than later, but we'll see. Maybe we can pay to learn it in town someday?

That's pretty awesome. I looked at it sideways and out of focus, to get an idea of the layout but not so I could read anything. You know, just in case.

Last night and this morning were pretty crazy, and I've got a client meeting I've got to prep for first thing. I'll get a post up by midday, hopefully.

That is pretty cool. Seems handy, for sure. I like the icons and notes all over the annotated map so you have some quick, at-a-glance info. Combined with the DM worksheet for each level, that's awesome sauce!

Hmm. I wonder if we could harvest scorpion venom, presuming we kill them before they sting us. A small number of save-or-die bolts would be pretty cool.

This is going to be a fight we need to make sure we end very quickly. The potential for loss of a character is much higher than normal.

Eek! I guess we're waiting for MM's decision on his shield...?

If we don't hear from him by the endv of the day I'll likely assume that's what he'd do, and post accordingly.

I'd assume he'd use it. I don't think anybody'd get their character aced just so the rest of the party could keep a +1 shield.

Okay, I guess the next question is does he want to swap off the front line -- then someone else can stand in the way, and Vanco can try CLW.

Okay, let me know if Rhys or Severi would like to switch places with Thurgan.

If he sacrifices his shield, then he still has a shield and 3 AC and only took 4 pts damage, right? He also has the higher hit points and best chance to save. Seems he is still the best person for the front line.

That said, if he wants out of the melee, Rhys will jump in.

This is all true. I just wasn't going to say it.
