Thinking its not the best idea to have his head in the ceiling, Scythius drops back down to the floor stabbing wildly through the door with his spear.


assuming it is possible to connect with the creature:

scy falls down to the ground wildly stabing up ito the doorway and feels the satidfaction of a hit. It does however stop the beast from leaping through the now open doorway onto the startled ranger.

The creature is a fury of slashing black claws and wicked fangs.

The beats fangs are turned away by the metal studs of scy's armor and he manages to keep one of the slashing hands away with his spear, but the other rips across the rangers neck.

The creature looks up and cathes Tubs eye with the theif being only a few feet away. Standing in the doorway Osric also sees the events transpire.

As soon as Jonus makes his move and attacks Sergius, Viktor lunges in with anger in his eyes and a look of reckoning on his visage.

"I knew it! Innocent traveler me arse!" he exalts loudly to warn his compatriots as he swings his short sword on the man with blatant malice....

Not sure who to help, Cilian moves neither south nor north and maintains his watch on the kitchen door from the doorway.

Osric praying softly under his breath moves to engage the creature seing it as the most immediate threat.

Having already released the ceiling door, trying to smash the too-quick creature, Tub attacks with Short Sword and dagger trying to help his friend!

Crazy scary monster guys, need some help! He yells, unawares as to what's occuring in the other room, otherwise he'd be real smug about being right about Jonus.

Scythius murmurs through clenched teeth, Hold still you beady eyed little bastard. and thrusts again at the creature.

Jonus acts first thrusting his dagger under serg's shield and into his ribs

serg and vik converge on the traitorous villian both striking true. Jonus staggers back and scowls at the pair.

scy feels a wave of cold run over him as the creature rakes his neck with its claws but manages to shake it off.

The creature continues to flail at the ranger

but the ranger manages to fend off the attack.

Tub leaps it stabing the creature with his daggers as Scy rams his spear into it's gut.

each shot seems to shake the creature but does not damage it in the way you would expect as it still stands.

Osric moves into the bedroom with a shout to Thor and swings his hammer but misses.

serg feels a wave of cold wash over him and his muscles painfully tense to the point they can no longer move.

Vik sees serg's arms and legs curl in and his body fold as he collapses to the ground in a fetal position.

"You'll pay for that, ya bastard!" the young churl-deputy cries as he tries to sidestep Jonus to get him away from where Sergius lies on the floor and stabs out at him again maliciously with his short sword...

Hearing Viktor's cry for help, Cilian quickly runs back to the first room to find Serg down on the floor.

"Serg!" he cries, then swings his staff at the dastardly vagabond.

Cilian and Vik attack the turncoat but fail to get past his defense. Holding his dagger out toward Vik Janos's voice grows deep and seems to echo from below.
