Turning to Vesper Daisy says,
"I doubt I can get Doris over here. Her boss would object, but I think we can get a note to her, or better yet right to the Tooth's owner. Would that do it for you?"
OOC: If Vesper agrees, then the following...
Daisy while placing the order with the waiter says,
"Joe, I've got a silver for you if you run over and deliver a message to Doris (or the owner) at the Sea Serpent's Tooth from Miss Vesper here?"
OOC Daisy's story was also inspirational so let's see. I think Da, Ferd, Elizabeth, Robin, & Verna were at the table when she told her tale (if I'm missing anyone tell me and I'll add a roll for you), any roll 12+ gets a LUCK token :
Da -- [1d20+3]=15+3=18
Ferd -- [1d20+3]=19+3=22
Elizabeth -- [1d20+3]=19+3=22
Robin -- [1d20+3]=7+3=10
Verna -- [1d20+3]=11+3=14
I'm going to get more strict on Inspire rolls from now on, though. It is supposed to be One target in
near gains a luck token, per Performance. A story really should be one performance, I think, so really only one target (picked by the performer or the Ref if the player doesn't specify) gets the token for a story. Otherwise with 3 bards floating around there are going to be more Luck Tokens banked up than all the rolls attempted.
So Da gets a luck token? Did he start with any?

{Elizabeth}
Elizabeth watches Vesper's antics. She sighs and puts her chin in her hand. "I'm gonna end up dancing on a stage aren't I?"

“Yes,” Draven said sympathetically.
“Yes, you are.”

Elizabeth throws back the rest of her drink. "Then I need to get much, much drunker."

Gaurbal
Gaurbal smiles
"See, you're getting the hang of it already."
He orders a round of beers (or wine if preferred) for the team.

Vurna grins at Elizabeth. "It would be nice for us to see you dance, before... well, before it gets too rowdy in the taverns, as Daisy says." She looks around surreptitiously, suddenly aware there are more ears in the place now that the bards have been spinning tales.
She politely declines Gaurbal's offer of another drink. "I think I'll just have the one, for now."

Ferd continues to hold down hos table and enjoys watching Vesper's antics for now.
(Anyone who wants to be part of Ferd's roll instead of Vesper's roll, just identify yourself and RP staying here when they move to bar #2. Daisy will peel off with her crew and then Ferd will have a night of storytelling and likely do the first roll.)

You can't call us that - we're "performing artistes"!

How about if we post (or PM to DM) our separate Bard d6 element of the carouse(s) (either now or later) but let Eris add the individual's d8? Having done this (literal) dance before each person then gets their own carousing result/effect and goes from there or alternatively has to RP their way out of where they've ended up!
In the interests of show and tell for new players I'll post mine here.
Marked Secret/In Confidence/For DM Eyes Only (or anyone nosey) :
I'm under no illusions!

In my Traveller Merc campaign (here on US!) I once (foolishly) left an entirely empty folder in the game topics marked Private Notes because it was missing a Player's name (to make it for instance Tiglath's Private Notes). That folder had multi hundred hits...

Just what duration and gold expenditure did we decide on for the different groups?

There's Daisy's (hopefully gold accumulating) adventure in the Warehouse.
Vesper's wild carouse is a +3 120gp a head three day affair while Ferd hosts a more sensible and modest night out +1 20gp a head.
So between us all we've got most events on the Carousing chart covered as a possibility!

Vurna puts her hand to her mouth and giggles − actually the first time anyone's seen her do that since coming ashore on The Western Lands.

Yes, and the plan for this group (so far made up of Daisy, Da, Elizabeth, Trawets, and Vurna) is to tag along for the first few hours of pub-crawling and minstrelry as cover, then when things really get going, peel away to the docks. Technically this could be time enough for a "worthy night of drinking and festivity" (+0 to Carousing), but... we might want to be sober until the job is over. Also, we want to be greedy hold out for a longer carouse afterward, since we all get only one roll per downtime. And by then we hope to have earned our own stake to spend on carousing, or earned loans/charity from our fellow Guildsmen in any case.

Elizabeth is not actually accompanying them on their mission. She's taking advantage of Vesper's obvious love for corrupting good girls taking advantage of the group's generosity to party hard and pick up some XP. Gotta get past that "roll an 8 on a magical explosion and die" phase of being a wizard ASAP.

OOC: Here's how will will run things...
Vesper's Party
- I'm happy for Vesper and her party to post in this thread where she's performing and what happens at each venue.
- You get to try to Fascinate the crowd once at each venue A normal failure means you don't Fascinate here, but you can still try at the next venue. If you succeed you'll increase your take by an amount that I'll roll for when I summarize everything.
- On a critical failure (1) when you try to Fascinate a crowd, there will be a bad event at that location that will break into your performance and I'll have to step in and tell you what happened and there will be roleplaying at that point. If no critical failures, this won't come up.
- After you finish your performances, you'll party hard for the next 3 days? and that will be when you all roll for your Carousing Outcome (or tell me to roll) and add Vesper's Bonus.
- You know I'm happy when you roleplay out your interactions, so go for it!
- We will resolve the outcomes in this thread.
Ferd's Party
- Follow along with Vesper's party in this thread, posting as you go until you peel off.
- After you peel off, you'll party for the rest of the night and next day? and that will be when you, in this group, roll your Carousing Outcome(or tell me to roll) and add Ferd's Bonus.
- I'm going to create a thread called Ferd's Carousing where you can post those rolls and roleplay what you do for the rest of the evening. It is also where we will resolve the outcomes of your Carousing rolls.
- Roleplay to your hearts content in the Ferd's Carousing thread when it comes up.
Daisy's Party
- Follow along with Vesper's party in this thread, posting as you go until you peel off.
- After you peel off, come back to the Guild Hall and you'll gather with Daisy and continue in a thread called A Little Night Business.
- Roleplaying will take place in that thread. After the adventure is complete you, and if your PC's are still alive you can get in a night of Carousing with a +0 + Daisy's Bonus roll on the Carousing Outcome table.
- We will resolve those outcomes in this thread.
If that's clear, then Vesper start the fun and games!

After another round Vesper starts stretching and looking restless. She sings the Travellers' song "Travelling Light" which she dedicates to the Trident's staff and then announces that she is due at The Pig's Whistle. The "Shadow Cats" troupe polish off drinks and make their way as a group to the next venue. They take with them their newly recovered chest which apparently contains Vesper's costumes for the night.
On arrival at the tavern the troupe fall into their respective roles: Draven and Gaurbal adjust staging and then set themselves to manage the crowd and guard the "take". Galreth and Jake kick the entertainment off as a ventriloquist act in the persona of the "everyman" waiting for the show to start and... a talking corvid. Meanwhile Vesper changes into a long flowing "floaty" dress and sings another travelling song and several ballads. Jake then joins her mischievously dropping the shoulder straps of her dress as she performs a bawdy ballad while Vesper coyly competes with him to remain clothed and in the process shows a fair amount of flesh. She then takes up a set of pan pipes to raise the tempo and temperature by dancing - her dress is
very floaty on the turn! The Pig's Whistle's "rhythm man" robustly accompanies on the tabor as do the tavern's clientele by banging and clapping along in time to the beat. A Vesper then projects her voice about the pub and in a seductively breathy tone says
"Tonight and for a while I'm Vesper Hush. So, shall I leave you something to remember me by?"
Punters crane forward, there is some less than good natured shoving. She has the attention of the whole pub and with a nod to the "rhythm man" goes into "Igraine's Dance". The flute's top notes carry the tune as Vesper spins into the opening. As she increases the speed of her turns her dress "floats" higher and higher. She breaks off the stage to dance through the tavern lifted from table to table by Gaurbal and Draven while Galreth presents the hat. The better the donation per table the more speed Vesper puts into her turns while on the table. The room "worked" Vesper brings it home. The house musician can barely keep up as the punters hammer eating knives, dagger pommels and pint pots onto tables. As the dance's conclusion approaches Vesper's dress approaches horizontal and she then drops to arch her back in the final crescendo.

(OOC: Katy bar the door!
Wanted to get this out as I'm off travelling/gaming back Sunday night (UK)
