Lorde nods politely at Rukellian, but it's clear all his attention is focused on trying to load the crossbow.
In one swift mostion, learned from years of hunting and practiced for days on end before his journey, he remains crouched, outstetchs his foot and cocks the crossbow.
He almost lets out a sigh of relief.

The hard part is over he says to himself as he takes a bolt from his quarrel.
The hard part is over he reapeats as he loads the bolt.
The hard part IS over he recites as he takes aim.
The hard part IS over he lies as he pulls the trigger.

Lorde will attempt to attack one of the centipedes, possibly firing into malee.

To hit: [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11

Damge: (If successful) [1d6] = 3

Am I supposed to be rolling my hireling's actions as well? If so, I will probably need some more info on him, didn't think to ask early on.

I will roll for them, but you must command them.

all the centipedes miss, one is nearly blinded by Projectile vomit.

Agathon kills the wounded one. Everyone else misses.

3 centapedes remain...

Let me know what you attacks are, and remember to command your hirelings!

Here is the group intiative roll for this round:
[1d6] = 3

Rukellian maintains his position, providing cover for Lorde with a shield. "There's only three of those nasty buggers left! Bardoon, squash one for me, will yeah? Hemna, stay close by and make sure nothing reaches Lorde, wave a torch if you have to."

With anger in his eyes, Gorek grabs his axe with both hands, and brings the blade up over his head and attempts to cleave one of the giant centipedes.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

To hit: [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18, damage with axe: [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

Behrun joins in with the Dwarf's axe frenzy, swinging his short sword in an attempt to cleave a centipede in twain but missing due to the great pang of pain in his stomach. Melee Attack: [1d20] = 4

Agathon fires off another sling bullet, assuming he has a clear shot.

PbP Forum code: To hit with sling (short range) [1d20] = 11+1

If that hits:

Damage with sling [1d4] = 4

Remember, stay by my side, he tells Hurtag.

Luna looks for a nice dark corner to hide in.
