Revs shrugs "We could double it if you want to."

He checks the time on his comms.

"We ought to get there a bit early, have a chance to settle in."

Revs has nothing extra to add. He plans to arrive at the meet at 2.45am (park around the back) and has a seat on his bike for one more. He will wear 'smart casual' and is wearing his secure 'leather' jacket and taking his pistol with a clip of gel rounds.

Skye

With her last comment being completely ignored, Skye wordlessly gets up and heads back to her room to change.

Guess we're winging it, she thinks to herself as she picks out a black T-shirt with a pair of dancing skeletons printed on the front, jeans, her usual Doc Martens, and her faux leather secure jacket. She debates with herself whether to take her gun. Eh, it's expected I suppose, she decides as she takes it sticks it in the inside pocket of her jacket.

“I will,” Pandora says. “Might as well leave Simpleton a little bargaining room there as well.” She makes the change, prints the bill, and offers it to Headstone.

“You want me with you on this one, Boss?” the decker asks, almost neutrally enough to hide her hope that he will say no. “The Comet’s Tail has no internal cameras. Just the ones on the doors outside, and their POP system is ancient enough that I think even you could navigate it.”

{Revs}

"We need to get some kind of hidden micro camera with mic and earpiece with a comms unit for future jobs, so Pandora can tag along."

Pandora shrugs. “Most places are more accommodating – even if they don’t mean to be.” She grins. “But it’s not like you really need me for this. I’ve given you all I know and everything I have to say about money matters. And I am not a negotiator. As you’ve probably already noticed, I don’t do people well.” She shrugs again. “I mean, I suppose having me and my gun along might make you feel more secure, but…” Chuckling, she gives a self-deprecating wave of her hand.

Baby Blue

"So it sounds like we let Headstone or Biter make our offer, let Dashiell haggle them down a bit, and then take the job assuming he agrees to cover transportation, gives us at least 67,500, and death benefits. Of course, we also walk away if he was wrong or lying about the target being an adult," says Baby Blue. She is still wearing and carrying the stuff from her outing with Revs, so she will go as is.

“I thought Pacman was going to help the Boss with the negotiations,” Pandora says, her voice raising into a lilt at the end as though it were as much question as statement. “Or did that change while I was skating for intel?”

“But I’m with you on the kid thing,” the decker says, nodding. “We don’t do kids.”

Baby Blue

"I misspoke. Perfect memory does not mean perfect oratory," says Baby Blue with a self-deprecating smirk.

Pandora can’t see the smirk, but she knows Baby Blue well enough to catch a hint of it in her friend’s tone. “Well,” the decker says, absolutely deadpan. “It’s okay. I forgive you, BB. Not everyone can be perfect like me.” Then she grins and sticks her tongue out.

{Headstone}

Headstone stands and addresses the group, before everyone moves out, making sure to recap everything and lay out the plan clearly.
He even adds some additional parts he had not had time to suggest yet. The only thing he cannot comment to is what was being said while he was in the kitchen as he never had a chance to hear it.

"Alright, just to make sure we're all on the same page, feel free to correct me if I misunderstood anything. We’ve got more time now than we thought, so we don’t have to rush the meeting as much as I was planning on. If any of you have more questions to bring up during the meet, that’s fine, just make sure it feels natural.

The plan so far:
1. We all attend the meeting, including Pandora.
2. I’ll handle the initial checks and open the conversation. I’ll name-drop his real name to show we’ve done our homework, but nothing too invasive. We’re here for business, not to prove we can dig through their personal lives.
3. Once Dashiel starts negotiating, after I handed over our counter-offer, I will stop talking and Pacman smoothly takes over. I’ll remain quiet and let him handle the negotiation. This will show how well attuned we are in relation to each other.
4. After Pacman finalizes the deal, I’ll start closing out the meeting.
5. We all leave, taking separate routes back. Try not to get followed.

Now, the next part is more of a suggestion:
6.Those who need rest should head home and get some sleep.
If anyone prefers to sleep on the plane, you can help scout out the target in advance. We won't grab the target until the whole team is together and we have a van ready to transport them.
7.Once the team is set and the van has been arranged, we move in on the target together, with Revs and Skye coordinating our approach and escape routes. That way, we avoid running into any trouble. For the physical grab, I’ll need Bone Biter and Tears with me. Pacman is on support and deal with outside interference.
As soon as the target is in the van, BB, can you then search the target for any hidden alarms or weapons? We don’t want surprises on the way and you have the sharpest eyes out of all of us.

From here on out, no one takes on any side activities. We all stay focused on escorting the target to the plane.
If we arrive early, we wait in the van.
8. Once we board, Revs is in charge. When he says buckle up, we listen. I’m not afraid of heights, but I’d rather not crash either.

Finally, while traveling, be mindful of what we say around the target. They might want revenge later, so the less they know about us, the better.
Sound good?" Headstone looks around, completely open to hearing any disagreements or changes to the plan.

{Revs}

"Sounds reasonable, boss. All I would say is the time between 6 and 7 is a little fluid. We should have time to do some investigation and recon on the target before formulating the capture plan. When we get back from the meet I'm going to message Belfy and get some sleep. Once I'm awake again I'll touch base with Belfry so we can firm up times and organise transport at either end. Realistically, we aren't going to be leaving until tomorrow night at the earliest, so we have time to plan this right."

Baby Blue

Baby Blue grimaces. "Agree like 99%. Tricky thing is, I really should go along on reconnaissance, but I also need to get some sleep, need some time to work with Pandora to pull up stuff on Houston, study the Houston maps and cross reference it with anything Pandora pulls up and figure out our main route, plus backup and escape routes. If I'm navigating, I can't go sleeping on the plane neither."

Baby Blue drums her fingers on the table. "Probably, the Houston stuff is top priority. Going somewhere new makes me nervous, and I want all my i's dotted and t's crossed. The grab is local though, and we're all familiar with Seattle. So if we don't want to slow down your timetable, then I think I'll sleep the rest of the night and morning after the meet while others scout out the target. I'll start crunching routes in the afternoon."

{Revs}

"Don't worry about sleeping on the plane. Belfry will be flying and he knows the route, and I'll do any liason between him and the group. If I end up driving in Houston, then I'll need help with navigation. I'll have a better idea about Houston in the morning."

{Headstone}

Headstone listens carefully to both Revs and Baby Blue, nodding as they speak.
"So, if I’m hearing you both right, it sounds like we should hold off on the recon until we’ve all had some proper sleep, then hit that part together as a crew?" He glances between them to make sure he’s on the same page with them.
"That makes sense to me. We’ll handle the recon as a team, like the rest of the job. Hopefully, I can manage to catch some sleep myself during those early hours," he chuckles.

{Revs}

Revs grins back "It's been a long night, boss, I think some sleep will do us all good."

Headstone nods gratefully, realizing Revs is right.
''I guess your right my chummer, even when I hate to admit it. I’ll take your advice and catch some sleep too." followed by small, appreciative smile.

Pandora grimaces when Headstone says that he wants her along at the meeting with Dashiell. “Okay, Boss,” she says with a sigh. “I’ll put on my big girl panties and come with you out in public like that. But don’t blame me if my mouth sets us back a dozen or so steps with Simpleton. I have no filter… as I’m sure you’ve noticed.” She chuckles, then shrugs. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

The decker sits quietly through the rest of the conversation, lips pressed together in a thin line. She’s not quite sulking, but she does appear to be more interested in picking out the perfect piece of candy for her next fix than the rest of the discussion.

When Headstone agrees to sleep, Pandora chuckles. “Okay, fine… Just to prove I can be a team player if pressed to it, after BB and I finish checking out Houston, I’ll even christen that bed you stuck in my room and crash for a few hours. Don’t really need to. I slept two days ago. I think. Mighta been three. Anyway, I’ll power down for a few, so I can be fresh to do overwatch when you pick up the target. I can monitor most of the city through the traffic cams. I gotta nice little worm that…” She shakes her head. “Nevermind. I’ll zonk out for a few, just to be sure I’m at my best. Ghost. I might even eat…”

{Revs}

"Pandora, you can get a ride with me if you want."

{GM}

Pandora whips her head around towards Revs. “I’m perfectly capable of getting there myself,” she snaps. “It’s not like I’m afraid to walk alone in the dark, you know.”

She rips her backpack from the back of her chair and slams it on the table. Even with her sharp motions and hunched shoulders screaming her anger, she uses gentle, precise movement to set her deck into her bag. She stands, slinging the pack over her shoulder, snatches her Extreme Cup from the table, and shoves her chair in.

Turning roughly in Headstone’s direction, she says, “If you’re going to force me to go to this thing, Boss, I need my jacket. I’ll meet you there.” Without waiting for an answer, she strides to the door and starts to step through.

At the doorway, though, she catches herself, sets her hands on the frame, takes a deep breath, and turns around to face the general area from which Revs was speaking. “I’m sorry,” Pandora says with clipped, precise words. “That was unfair. You meant to be nice. But I’m fine. Thank you.”

Then she turns and strides out, not waiting for an answer.

Revs frozen look of shock turns to a deep blush as Pandora leaves the room.

After a few moments he clears his throat "OK.. um...time for me to change. That ride is still available for anyone who wants it."

He heads to the kitchen to rinse out his coffee cup before getting ready.
