Unable to add anything on the discussion about the nature of magical items, Telurion stands watch - "We really should get moving" - he pipes in.

Collecting the items the group wishes to keep they collect themselves and get back on the raft and continue heading towards the beacon. They manage to make it the rest of the day without issues it is now night once more and the beacon is prominent and bright there is no question they are getting closer. They figure one more day of rafting should bring them to their destination.

Egon

"Best not to move in the dark, lets rest here and keep going in the morning."

Trist and Jivet

"We can take watch as usual if we are using the same watches."

Del

"Sounds good"

Weston

Weston is happy with the same watch rota.

Tellurion

"Agreed" - he nodded - "Let's stay put for the night"

The next day of travel goes by uneventful, by mid afternoon you see a keep ahead. A beam of unearthly green light shines into the sky from the broken top of a square stone building ahead. This tower stands atop a hill on an island in the swamp. Both it and the surrounding structures are made of greenish-gray limestone, but are in a state of moderate disrepair.
The tower is encircled by a wall that connects four smaller round towers, each fairly intact. The wall itself has collapsed at one or more points. In contrast, a solid-looking gatehouse straddles the road that leads to the keep. Outside the wall are a few soggy islands surrounded by stagnant water.

Egon

"Looks in pretty bad shape, be careful you don't fall through anywhere."

Egon approaches the outside and will circle around to scout it. making sure anywhere he goes is solid enough to support him and noting any possible entrances.

Del

Del will be watching with her bow at the ready.

Reywald studies the light, curious what could be causing it

Weston

Weston keeps his eyes open as Egon scouts ahead.

Are we approaching from the water on the east of the keep since we are using the barge. Or have we disembarked and approaching from the West along the road?

Kravoud

Would be looking to see if there are any guards on the wall or in the gatehouse depending on how the party is approaching the keep.

Egon

Egon will beach the raft and hop off to check the castle walls.

Tellurion

Tellurion follows Egon, twirling his daggers.

Del

Glad to be done with the boat for now, Del will stay close to Egon ready to provide support for whatever is out there.
