Sir Gerolt of Selot
"Burzyn is Chisbia's capital, this the King himself resides there," Gerolt replied. He spoke of the king, and the prince that they were going to hunt with, as well.

Goes with those going to deal with the Drake hide. He's amazed at the size and stench of this city. Finding it not a pleasant place at all with the noise, smells and crowds. He is interested to see what the tanners might have while they're haggling on the tanning of the drake hide.

Burzyn has only 1 Hideworker, east of the castle (#34). It is operated by Asada of Frembas and it is a decent sized shop with Asada (the master) and 6 Journeymen. The place smells terribly as tanneries tend to.
Asada, "How my I help you today?"

Arngeir smiles at the man
"Good day. We have hide, from drake. Needs to be tanned so can get armour made."

Asada
"A drake you say, amazing. May I see it? Over here."
He moves over to a work table with a frame next to it and starts to clear it. To another hideworker, "Osien, help me clear this for the hide."
To the party, "Place it here please."

Arngeir will unload the hide from the donkey and bring it in.
"Hopefully is still good. Tried to get it here quickly."
I'm guessing he might need a little help.

Gerolt will go find his contact, the Burzyn guardsman I need to write up, and see about the loan of armor for Eldura, and two crossbows. Someone might be ill, or retired, and not need theirs at the moment. Eldura is welcome to join him, or not.
Not sure if this needs RP.

As much or as little as you want. I just need to know what you are looking for in that regard and can try and match up my post to that level.

Eldura will be glad to tag along! She's looking for light armor, if any is available. And also a crossbow. She'd also be interested in chatting with Gerolt's contact, if we chose to RP that a bit.

Sir Gerolt of Selot
Gerolt smiled as they walked. He lead his warhorse, and offered to let Eldura lead the palfry. "It will add a little to your image; a lady still, but able to deal with a good horse. Some nobles see themselves above such things, and the people see that. In some nobles minds there is little difference between a commoner and a horse, save that the horse does more work."
He found a town guard and asked where Ariel was, and then followed those directions. As they walked, he neither stared at nor ignored Eldura, he simply seemed to enjoy the day.
"Ariel is a good guard, strong of heart and body. Her family didn't really care much for her, but she found a better family in being a warrior. She and I have been friends for a while, and if I had funds then I would offer her a job. Until then, we are good friends." He glanced at Eldura, did a quick second glance, and then laughed. "Of course, I have no idea what she will think when she sees you wearing my clothes. She is one of the few who might recognize them. If you like, perhaps she knows where something more to your taste can be found?"

Eldura listens with great interest.
"Of course, it will be a pleasure to see her. Female guards are not too common. Well, I've heard of...cults..." she looks a bit at Gerolt to judge his expression (she's talking about the Crimson Dancers) "but I mean in the normal civilized world."
She pats the horse.
"And don't worry about the clothes. I'll be sure to let Ariel know that I borrowed then for convenience, and that's all there is to it."
She pauses for a bit, then continues.
"I find women are often less judgmental then men. But she might get jealous, of course. And I don't want to get off to a bad start with her."

Sir Gerolt of Selot
"I think Ariel would be happy for me, if she thought I had found a wife. She deserves her own family, but we are more friends than anything else. I value her courage and her loyalty, though I have no idea what she sees in me." Gerolt looked around, and then pointed down a different path between buildings. "That way."
They walked a few more steps, and Gerolt looked at Eldura. "Remember, Larani is a woman and I serve her. I don't see anything cult-ish about it, but then again, I would be biased, wouldn't I? I would say that your faith is different from mine, and to be honest, I know little of your faith, or of you. He stopped in the middle of the path, and turned to her. His eyes focused on hers, and did not wander. "You are free to wear my clothes until you have what you need, or you wish them no longer. What does that say about me? About you? What would you wish to be said? Remember, you're going on a hunting trip with two of the most powerful people in the kingdom. I don't know what it's like where you are from, but here, a woman can be a treasure or a trouble. Men feel a woman should be attached to a man, either to protect her, or in rare cases to protect others. If you are going to stay here, and invest time in the outpost, then you may want to consider how best to fit into society."

He examines the hide carefully. "This is very nice, whoever did the initial work was good. Looking to sell it?"

The weaponcrafter, Adin of Dirahn has them. (#16 on the map)
Looking things over you would say he is above average quality for a human, prices are also a little higher than average human weapons.
Bolt/Quarrel/Arrow (called as you prefer)
War Point 3d each
Blunt 5f each
Hunting 6f each
Incendiary 3d each
Whistling 2d each
any of the above in silver cost x72

Sir Gerolt and Eldura meet up with Ariel by the Chandler's shop (#10).
"Welcome Sir Gerolt, you have brought someone with you."

Sir Gerolt of Selot
Not sure where the numbers are listed, so I don't know where shop #10 is. Is the chandler a candler, or a ship-chandler? If the latter, does that mean we're by the docks, to the west of town?
Gerolt smiled when he saw Ariel, and greeted her warmly. "Ariel, this lady is Eldura, a travelling companion I happened across in the wild. It's a long story, and I need a favor. How about I buy supper and tell you the story, in exchange for the loan of some lighter armor for Eldura and a couple of crossbows? I have a plan, and this one may actually work. Care to join us?"
