Okay, everyone is where they said they would be. As you are patrolling, monitoring, and other activities, you notice a lot of people starting to hit the elevators. For those monitoring, you see them going up to the rec deck for leisure activities. For the first few hours, nothing happens.
Daz Intuition roll [1d100] = 26
Daz, as you are watching the screens, you see one of the Xeno-anthropology scientists move off screen toward the refresher. Within 30 seconds, the remaining scientist whips his head around suddenly. You see him suddenly flinch in terror and run. Nothing is showing on the screen.

Daz will immediately call out on her chronocom, "Attack underway." She'll indicate the exact location in the facility.

Lloyd will pop in his IR-UV goggles and head that way. Do we hear tHe scientists yelling or running physically?

Lloyd, your group are the only ones that know what is happening at this moment. For everyone not on the research level, it will take 1 minute per level to get up to that level. Lloyd, it takes you 10 seconds to get into the lab across the hall. The door slides open and you can see one autopsy table overturned toward the middle of the room. A pair of twitching legs can be seen from behind the overturned table.

Rick is on his way as soon as he hears the word. He also has his IR goggles that will hopefully allow him to see something not visible to normal sight.

Anything on the IR/UV? Lloyd will move on a line to view the kicking body. He draws the electro stunner pistol (confiscated from a pirate) and advances to get a better look. “We’ve got one down... “

You cautiously edge around the table and see the scientist on the ground with his hand around his neck. He glances at you, opens his mouth, but nothing comes out. He points, then collapses. You check him, but find no pulse.

Was he pointing at Lloyd? Or somewhere else?
He will raise the stunner and approach cautiously.
Which scientist was it? Can we we any disturbance in the air or in any stuff on the floor?

He was pointing somewhere else. His name badge says his name is Helron Thymen. Make an Intuition roll for me, please.

Okay, you see dark drops of liquid at an average of 1 meter intervals that run from the point of the body toward the air cycling duct. You see a total of 8 drops on the floor.

If Lloyd’s ‘buddy’ is able to function have him watch the door and the body, Lloyd will approach he air duct: is there anything unusual about it? Dislodged, discolored, colder, wetter, etc
[1d100] = 3
Lloyd will share his observations with the team, “Is this a supply or a return duct?” He’ll ask The team members in the control room.

Great roll! As you look at the duct work, you notice small scrapes along the base of the duct and the drops of liquid go directly in line with this area. You can almost draw a straight line from the duct vent to the table where the body is.
